Shooting a nail in concrete?
I purchased this unit to mount some plastic cable covers on an overhead concrete beam within our office.The only thing running through the cable cover is a speaker cable and the weight is minimal, but considering the height did not want to rely on the glue strip and expected this would make mounting it a quick job.Unfortunately, this solution is not working for that, the nails penetrate the plastic cover just fine, but just bent when hitting the concrete.Fortunately, I also brought my hammer drill and that one went into the same beam without any issues, just taking a bit longer.The project was slightly delayed and by the time I used it, the return window closed.Decided to keep it and might come in handy to fasten material on to something softer than concrete.
