Very good quality of wood and hidden fixing.
Looks very good and easy to fit. Must be careful of height above wood burning stoves as there is a regulation distance from edge of fireplace

Stunning Beam
I am so happy with our beautiful beam. After opening our fireplace. I wanted the beam to finish the look off. It is so beautiful made and heavy. It is solidly made and has so much detail on the wood. Easy to install. I highly recommend.

Lovely piece
Lovely piece of wood! However, the mounting system really needs to be thought through on the larger lengths… really insufficient for the size and weight… not very safe unless significant changes are made!

Fitting
My beam looks great, well on the floor not fitted. I have two holes in beam, 2 pieces of very rusty concrete reinforcing steel and no fitting instructions, come on Oakleys Oak. You could just email them over.Still no fitting instructions 2 months since first review. You can have this item back
