A slip off tequila induced dancing caused a broken rib. Been there, done that. I needed a support & no one had this style. Wore someone else's too big & cumbersome one till this arrived. Fit well & got me through May. Price was reasonable & I'm almost healed. Amazon came through & I'm off to tequila dance another day. (night).

I bought the 4xl which should fit me based on my measurements. However, the hook and loop fasteners were so small that i could not get the brace tight. It looks made well and seems like good quality, maybe just order a size down if your thinking about buying.

I'm surprised at how well this brace works. I got lazy the other day and decided not to wear it while working. That evening I was suffering with back pain. Today I wore it while working even longer and this evening my back feels great. I also like how you can wear the belt loose and only tighten it when needed. You can also detach the shoulder straps if you prefer. TBH, I'm not sure how helpful the shoulder straps are as they tend to loosen on their own. I haven't found them necessary at all since the belt stays in place nice and tight with good grip without the straps.

I had a DIY job where I had to move more than 100 of 160KG sleepers so bought this to help me on the task.I'd hasten to add that we rented a JCB to do lost of the lifting and transporting, but there was still a lot of manhandling to get the sleepers into position.At the end of the first day, wearing this belt, I felt better than I thought I would. But it was so uncomfortable that I ditched it 30 minutes into the second day.I felt a lot more done-in after the second day so maybe that's the difference between wearing this and not?To be honest, it reminded me of some safety guards on machinery that get in the way so much that you end up removing them so you can get on with the job. In conclusion, probably helpful but no use if it's so much faff that you leave it lying on the kitchen floor.
