Excellent
Needed for my SSD's. Connection is simple. PnP. Sure no noise, portable, high data transfer. And it is transparent, so I can see what I have connected.

No hardware to assemble with this drive case.
This is a great case to make a 2.5" external drive. Slides together with no screws or other hardware to assemble. Easy to change out drives if you have extras. Love this see through case.

Good quality and easy to use
My son is using this while away at college with an old drive I had taken out of a toasted laptop. Was easy to setup and it works great.

I have had 5 of these enclosures for years.
So I have bought now 5 of these enclosures over the last 4 years. None of them have had any problems at all with them. 2 I gave away with some backups I made for people but the other three have been for personal use. And they have seen some use. As you can see from the pictures I deal with Data a lot. I have probably 30ish 2.5in drives in my house, about 15 of them SSDs. I also as mentioned do backups and data recovery at times which these enclosures helps a ton with. The drives work as simple as just sliding off the cover, putting in the drive and plugging it into the PC and it should work as long as your drive is already initialized and partitioned. (If you have trouble with the drive showing up look into that first. Especially if the drive is brand new.) And you should use USB 3 or up as USB 2 and under ports MIGHT have issues. Slower speed in ALL cases with them and possibly the drive not working right becuase of some of USB 2's (or 1) lesser power delivery being inadequate. But even if you use a usb 2 port likely you'll be okay, just again it WILL be much slower because of USB 2 top speed being much slower then 3. Though I haven't had any hardware issues with these I do have some complaints. One is that with time the sliding cover for it becomes worn and may just slid off from moving or in storage unless taped. It is annoying but not horrible. And the other thing is there is a Bright Blue light on the drive enclosure that is Always on when it has power and a red one that flashes when accessing the drive. The blue light is most of my complaint because it is so bright that if the light is sitting next to your computer shinning at you it is a bit blinding. Then if like me you might have a computer with the drive in your room that blue light will light up the whole room at night. Having an indicator light is nice, but it seems a little excessive in this case. It could of at least maybe been more diffused so again it doesn't blind you or bother you when on the desk next to you... But those personal gripes aside it is a good enclosure that should hopefully last you years. And it is so simple to swap drive you can see me do it 1 handed in the video I made. The tooless design is great bonus to have, but again over time it might slide too easy and fall off so keep that in mind. They have served me well.

Works as designed!
Easy to use, and works as designed. No issues so far (but I've barely used it since it arrived). And the clear case makes it easy to see what drive and capacity is installed! I'm quite satisfied!

Need a jacket, VERY NICE! and cozy. EXCELLENT. But would not use it if removing all the time.
I would -will get again. First time getting a small drive jacket. You will be satisfied. I would not use this to constantly remove the drive. It fits like its tailored. Very cool looking you can read the S/Nrs on the drive as it is clear or you can add a sticker to customize etc. For my purposes, this jacket will house a backup drive. Perhaps not all drives you may place in this cover state that they need a breathing hole, but one I purchased did so I drilled a hole where needed. Youtube Video information: I will be getting another two drives of the same Model. So if this one craps out! I can pull parts.. board, drive motor or perhaps the writing arm off a good one and save my files then replace borrowed parts to the original doner. Also, note that getting a dive naked skips any issue with a "bridge" as the bridge is built into this nice jacket and not the hard drive so if files are important you may have better luck restoring to a new unit without extra stuff to hold you back. The video also stated that for now the Toshiba disk drives, (M/D: MQ01ABD100V) are built better than others, not the best but good price point.... .. Don't get mega huge drives as the larger they are the more chance of losing stuff. Also, drives like many other things regardless of the price/brand can crap out at the beginning mortality. If they get through a certain amount of hrs they may be great for some time. Be very redundant on backups, (I'm still bad at this part but am working on it.) Long term... magnets inevitably go bad just as in any tool requiring them. The best way to save is on an appropriate CD... If that turns you on. In any case, I think you should at least have two back up drives at a minimum and a third running in the background as you work. My files are personal not business, but I have many files besides photos and music. So I found something funny.. I work in an EMC lab. I build periphery stuff for the lab such as creates for $100K parts to ship, fancy antenna mounts, refit doors weld things, etc. ....... HAH! The funny part, I found it astonishing that these lab rats, for the most part, don't have but one back up drive. Perhaps I'm a little slow. One thing is for sure I still have windows 8 and that is where my back up quest started... So I'm off to get Windows 10 when I can shake off/divert some lunch money. In the past ten years, I've lost a drive twice and was somewhat devastated by losing so many ideas, sketches, and build photos... Days I could have spent watching TV.

Good external SSD enclosure
I had some loose SSD drives sitting around and wanted to put them to use so I needed an external housing with a USB interface. After searching Amazon I came across this item with good feedback. I recieved the item and my SSD pluged right in no problem. I slide the cover on to completely seal the drive (good to keep dust out) and pluged it into my deskltop PC. My computer recognized the SSD right away and I was able to move files back and forth. I am completely satisfifed with this item.

Works well, looks cool too
Works great after 1 year of use. I've put multiple drives (SSDs and HDDs) in this enclosure and it never fails to work at the maximum speed.

Buen producto precio-calidad
Me gusta mucho su diseño transparente. Cumple muy bien. Quizas no es muy resistente para caidas pero tratandolo con cuidado cumple. Me gusta lo volveria a compras

excellent.
clean to the point, does the job. no issue removing the cover or putting it back in place. couple of spongie (sp?) pieces to prevent droop once it's connected. i slipped those underneath and checked for any movement... zero. Guestimating, i'd say the usb cord stretches to about/close to 20" was considering the idea of drilling a few pin holes to release heat as it's totally enclosed but i've had it running, copying stuffs etc for a couple hours. no heat whatsoever. (little kingston a400 240GB). 2.5" enclosure, clear model - usb3.

Great Product
I won't mind any packaging until the product is safe and sound. However, this is an excellent product my laptop broke so i thought to do some DIY hence brought this see through casing for my sata drive. It looks nice, and was easy to unpack and install however one needs to remember to unscrew the usb adapter and be very cautious when sliding the drive in the casing. I am happy with the product and does what it is supposed to do. Also remember to get the casing off of your sata drive as well. Hopefully pictures would help. After plug in the drive to computer it would immediately ask for the formatting since I copied and moved the data so I just formatted my drive and created a partition of 320 GB into two also since my sata is of Toshiba the system reserved space is there. Well job done well and working great
