I tried learning needle-felting on my own a few years ago and miserably failed— I tried again with this kit and the step-by-step instructions and pictures made it a lot easier to get the hang of and the little animals turned out pretty dang close to the picture!

I toiled for quite a while over which kit to purchase as I was a complete beginner to felting. I landed on this kit because the projects were adorable. I’m so glad I did!Each project is sectioned out for you in individual baggies which contain everything you need. The instructions are far superior to others I’ve seen. Not only are there paper instructions for each project outlining each step with text and pictures, but there is also a QR code for each one that takes you to individual YouTube videos that go through the whole project, showing you what needs to be to done, which needle to use for that step, etc.I’ve already recommended this kit to friends interested in felting!

This is the cutest kit This is my first time trying this craft and the videos and printed instructions are very well done. I scanned the QR code for the animal to get to the videos. I paused the video and looked at the paper just for reiteration. They provided live size photos to compare your piece to to make sure you are on track along the way.The materials and instructions for the different animals comes in their own plastic bags. If I need to stop working on an animal, I can easily put everything back in the bag together and pick it back up later.I was so surprised that it started to hold together with only a few pricks of the needle on each side. It takes some pressure to hold it together at first. The video shows someone wearing the finger guards on the first finger and the thumb but I naturally use the thumb and middle finger and use the guards that way.I wanted to note that it takes at least six hours (more for me as a beginner) to work through one animal.

I’m a full beginner at needlefelting. I thought this kit was reasonably easy to use, especially if you don’t expect your creations to come out exactly like the photos. My only issue was that the instructions were not the best. Was a really fun activity to try.

This kit has 5 very cute animals to needle felt and all the supplies to do so. The pamphlet instructions are decent and there are videos. The videos do not have any speaking, just classical music and written instructions. The videos are speed up and not real time. Overall, I'd say this is a nice kit for a beginner.

The best thing about this kit is that you have five completely different animals to make, not just variations on the same animal, like some kits I’ve gotten. Each animal comes in its own packet of roving wool with instructions, so you don’t get confused about which colors go with which animal. The instructions are pretty clear with a photo at literally each step so you know exactly what your work should look like when the step is done. There is also a 1:1 size photo so you make your animal in the correct size for the materials you’ve been given, so you don’t run out of material. Plus, there is a QR code to go to online help should you get stuck. The kit comes with wool, needles and handle, finger protectors and a piece of foam to protect your work surface as you felt the wool, as well as keychains for each animal should you want to use them that way. It also comes in a nice box that would be appropriate for gift giving. The animals are well designed with very cute faces, so I hope all mine turn out as good as the pictures show. I’ll update with a finished animal and let you know how it goes.

It says for beginners, if you know how to do it maybe. The online instructions are useless. I'm still trying to figure it out

This kit has everything you need to begin needle felting. It requires that you use a variety of techniques & with each little animal you learn something new!

Das Set ist für Anfänger super! Die Einleitung als Video ist sehr einfach über ein QR-Code zugänglich. Vom Material habe ich eher weniger verwendet als das was ich bekommen habe. Das Resultat ist super süß. Ich habe damit ein Mobile für mein Baby gemacht.

I love these kits. I was surprised how inexpensive they are in the UK.Would definitely recommend
