These are not necessarily cat-proof, though!
This product is great and works totally as designed. I bought this set because, like me, another reviewer had an issue with a cat closing doors. However, Day 5, my cat made a huge racket and managed to get the doorstop out that I had put under the bathroom door! This pic is a little blurry because I took it after she proudly made her conquest and dragged it into the hallway to show me when I went to investigate! Who knew that she would be persistent enough and have paws strong enough to accomplish this feat! Good for her! Great news is that she was so distracted that she didn't close the door! Mission accomplished! She went to take a nap. I put the doorstop back in place. No other issues since then! Hope you are as entertained as I was!

Sturdy solution
I live in an old house in a busy industrial area. Every time a cement mixer or tractor trailer or other heavy equipment rules past my home some of the doors would vibrate and close. While my husband was looking in to expensive and "New Age" technological ways to prevent the doors from closing, I went an old school route. These door stops are perfect!! Sturdy. Inexpensive. Easy to use. Perform as needed. Can't do any better than these AFFORDABLE, well made items.

Prevents banging of door(s)
No more annoying back & forth noise when I want door to be slightly open while window in the room is also open. It is sturdy & it also stays in place.
