I received my thrunite whistle. Its as light as a plastic whistle, but wont break or chip, and is very compact. Id love to see some more colors especially some florescent. The whistle tone is loud and crisp. The harder you blow the louder it gets. My wife was able to hear the whistle from almost a mile a way with ease. We equip our fishing vest with them when fishing below reservoirs where the turbid waters drown out voice communication, so we can get attention of those around to alert them of rising water or floating logs or debris. A great piece of mind to have for a great price!Erik

I have been thinking about getting a safety whistle since the past year, so imagine my pleasant surprise when the perfect solution was provided by a fantastic flashlight company I have been a fan of since 2016. Obviously, I had to jump on this opportunity!This whistle is my first titanium piece, and I now understand the appeal of this alloy. The whistle is lightweight but solid, feeling like it will survive just about anything to which it's exposed. I think the whistle might even last several lifetimes, meaning it could be handed down to subsequent generations.The whistle is easy to hold with ridges in the right spot to provide a little grip. The whistle is easy to blow and will easily get someone's attention from far away. I took it hiking recently and got to use it several times to warn my kids to slow down as they regularly hiked outside my wife's and my view, which was around 100 yards in the woods.One thing I have noticed is that sometimes moderately blowing the whistle produces a shrill sound, while at other times, the sound is more pointed and what you would expect to hear from a quality whistle. However, I feel the sound will become more consistent the more I use the whistle and the more adept I become at blowing it.I have adopted this whistle as part of my EDC (EveryDay Carry) gear. As with my flashlight and pocketknife, I only take off the whistle when I'm bathing and exercising inside my home. I often forget I have the whistle hanging from my neck, usually remembering its availability only when needing to use it or take if off.A neck cord was included in the package. The cord is reflective and feels durable, but it is a little thick for my general EDC. For daily wear around the house or town, I prefer a thinner cord, but when I'm hiking or participating in other outdoor activities, I will use the included cord.ThruNite, I am incredibly grateful for your offering this whistle, which I am sure will only grow in popularity and expose new people to your company and its excellent customer service. Perfect my college aged kids. Very loud. And it takes little effort to make a lot of noise. Great for camping as well.

No need to wait for delivery. I saw that thrunite was now selling whistles and immediately purchased the 2 pack without actually seeing the product. That’s how confident I am with tn products. I own a bunch of their flashlights from a couple of h01 and catapult minis to the tc20 and catapult v6 as well as other lights I use for daily use, outdoor use, and emergency use. I’ve given some to family members as gifts. The lights are well made with good materials and most of all reliable when I need them the most. Quick story: I brought the catapult with me on vacation, and I carried to a beach at night at the Lookout point. I saw a dive boat several hundred meters in the distance I took out my light and I beamed it at them and the people around me were in awe, wondering where the light from since I was able to light up the whole boat and the divers around it. They were shocked to see how compact the light was, and wanted to know what brand and model it was. I highly recommend Thrunite.update: I just received my tn whistles. One in each color. It came in a hard plastic clear box individually wrapped and each came with a lanyard. Super light weight yet feels very strong. Nice and small. The lanyard has a nice reflective threading woven into it and feels very durable. Again the quality I expected from tn. This whistle is now part of my updated edc.

It’s a lot smaller than I thought sounds OK, but it should be louder, but it’s because of the size. So I’ll be looking for a louder whistle!

First impressions mean a lot and Thrunite hit it out of the park with this whistle. The shape is perfectly comfortable with the mouth peace. The machined grip on the barrel has allowed for a solid purchase even while wearing gloves. I also appreciate the weight of the whistle. Not too heavy but enough to feel solid and well built. It is definitely loud. I live out in the country and calling the kids home is usually done by a whistle. And if my hands are dirty the last thing I want to do is stick my fingers in my mouth. This whistle has already come in handy for that alone. I absolutely enjoy this whistle so far.

I have used a ThruNite headlamp for many years and it has never failed me. When I saw that ThruNite offered a whistle, I had no hesitation in considering this 120dB Titanium model. After watching some YT video reviews, I ordered it..This is really small. Smaller than I expected. However, it is ideal for EDC; kept on a keychain, around your neck, or in a pocket/pocket organizer. It is very comfortable to hold and use.It comes with a lanyard, which is essentially just a length of thin, paracord-like rope. You’d have to tie a knot in it. I kept the lanyard for spare cord in my EDC kit and the whistle is tucked in my pocket organizer..The volume is very loud but depends on how hard you blow. The sound it produces is high-pitched and not as throaty as a sports whistle I have been carrying. However, that high frequency really carries well. My dogs went nuts when I blew it in the house! 😉.At $15 I am very pleased with this ThruNite whistle. I expected a good quality product and ThruNite delivered yet again. I will buy another for my daughter..A recommended purchase consideration from me if you are looking for an easy-to-carry whistle for EDC
