Update: I’ve raised the star rating to 4 purely for the after sales attention by the seller. It didn’t work out for me but the seller is very responsive and needs to be recognised for that fact.I purchased this for my iPad to record audio on the video's I make. Unfortunately I get mains hum on the recording when the iPad is plugged in to the mains charger whilst filming. It's fine when not plugged in to the mains, but this means I'm limited to time because of the battery life. I generally film in excess of 1:30 hours. I approached the seller for advice. They suggested using an iPhone charger instead of the iPad charger (something to do with the voltage difference) but it didn't cure the problem. It's possible the mic may be faulty, but I had no response the second time I approached the seller. A bit disappointed overall.

I purchased this microphone for some video work I'll be doing. I couldn't justify expensive microphones as I won't be using it often, but I still wanted something of good quality. After reading the reviews I went for the Aufgeld microphone and I'm very glad I did. The microphone and extra bits look and feel like far better quality than you would expect for the price. Two extra wind muffs (so I had three total) and two clips were included, as well as the adaptor which proved an absolute necessity as I'm using it with my Nikon D7000. I wasn't sure if it would even work with the Nikon as it isn't a powered microphone, but it did. The cord is a suitable length if you intend to have your subject right in front of the camera, otherwise you'll likely need the extension cord.In terms of audio quality, it's fantastic. I compared it to the Rode Smartlav+ which I was borrowing and to be honest, I couldn't tell the difference. They both sounded clear with good levels, but you'd be hard pressed to tell them apart. For the cost, it's a no brainer. If you're filming with someone speaking, a dedicated microphone for the camera is a clear necessity, and you can't go wrong with the Aufgeld.

I use this at work for video conferencing. I plug it into a Mac via a dock to improve the audio and it works really well. For this config, the mic can be plugged in directly without it’s converter. There are a couple of spare foam covers and a clip which I’ve had no cause to use. Can’t comment on the longevity of the item but it seems reasonably well built.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a very easy to use law mic for the iPhone. You literally plug it in and press record on the voice recorder app. It feels like a well made product and it even comes complete with a regular two stripe adaptor and a spare pop shield and clip.I've only tested it using the voice recorder app on my iPhone 8 (see my video) and it works perfectly with excellent sound quality. I would recommend this mic to anyone needing to record voice overs for vlogs, social media videos, etc on their smartphones, DSLRs or laptops.

This is a quality lav mic for the price. I was very surprised by the quality of the mic. This has a very small foot print which is ideal for keeping this as inconspicuous as possible when attached to your subject, Also the extra accessories is an added bonus, you get 2 gator clips and 2 muffers. You also get an adapter to connect to an audio recorder which connects very securely and I have no concerns what so ever about them disconnecting. All this in a nice soft velvet pouch to carry in shows how his company has done their homework. I brought this as a replacement as my one had broken and you could feel the difference in build quality. You could get a similar mic for abit cheaper but don’t bother, buy this instead you won’t be disappointed.

Did not give any improvement on my Chuwi laptop. The built in webcam was better.

I purchased this microphone to carry out video interviews with my Canon 7D mkII and I have tested it against the built in Mic and also the Rode Video Mic. Picking up clear speech without background noise is paramount to the work I do and the Aufgeld clipon mic is perfect for the job. It is best suited to indoor work, or somewhere with no wind, although the furry cover does eliminate some wind noise. I use this mic in conjunction with the Rode, having both means I am prepared for any interview situation. I have also purchased a 5 metre extension cable and there is no loss in sound quality when using this.
