These little heel pads are perfectly shaped to fit into the heel of the shoe, matching the shaping of the heel seam and curve. They have a bendable crease in the center, which folds nicely to fit the back of the shoe and after you put them in, when you look inside the shoe, you don't even notice that you have added something to the shoe. They look and feel part of the shoe and are soft and comfortable. I really appreciate that because I put the pads in the back of a slip-on ballet shoe, which was slightly too loose, and now the shoes don't slide off my heel. If I kick the shoes off with anyone else around, they don't look like I have stuck something in the shoe to make them fit - no embarrassment.

These didn’t really do anything for me, and just when I was about to give up, I realized my baby has some shoes that are just a tad too big. What do you know, these work! And it’s great b/c these are shoes she’ll be growing into soon too. I don’t think these would work as long-term solution to anything. But I was happy to find a use!

I realize that this product is more for comfort but it's also great for shoes that are slightly too big. I'm a size 9.5 in women's, which can sometimes be difficult to find (it's a size that often gets skipped). With this item, I can size up (depending on the style) and use these pads to get a closer fit. It's also great for kids. I have a five year old who grows out of her shoes super fast. I can order slightly larger shoes that she can grow into without having to sacrifice comfort. I had slippers that were way big so I ended up stacking 2 pads and attaching them as one, to fill in the gap; and it totally worked!A couple of notes: 1. I haven't been using them long so I'm not sure how full the padding will stay after lots of use. 2. The material on the pad is soft but looks fuzzy in a slightly weird way (not really a big deal). 3. Again, depending on the style, this may or may not work for some children's shoes (they may be too big). See images for sizing reference. 4. I haven't had them for too long but so far, they've stayed in place pretty well. It's a really good buy.

These heel pads are soft and cushioned. They have a slightly napped surface that feels good on one’s heels either with or without socks. They are thicker than I prefer because while they do help to stabilize the heel, they do create a tiny bit of space between the foot and the heel. They have good adhesion, and they do stay put once they are placed in desirable position. They are a smidge larger than I need or prefer for the shoes to fit better over my very thin heels. I prefer to use them in shoes that slip because the heel is too wide, rather than in shoes that are just a bit loose all over.
