NOT AS GOOD AS I THOUGHT. Please read my UPDATE after 10 months of use.
I was shocked when I opened my front door and saw how bright my driveway looks now. I cannot attest for the durability since I have these light bulbs installed for only two days. However, the quality and brightness I get from these LED Light Bulbs are impressive! I am pleased with the results. At this moment, I give a five stars rate.UPDATE AFTER USING THIS PRODUCT for 10 MONTHS:I repurchased this product in August 2018. As you can see in the pictures, I posted. I used this product inside of weather-protected fixtures. When the winter arrived, despite the instructions state that the outcome would be good to use with temperatures as low as 4F, when the temperatures reached middle 20's F, the lightbulbs began to flickering and about a month ago (April 2019), one of the just stopped working while the other one still flicks and operates only one side of the lightbulb.I tried to contact the seller, but I could not find anywhere how to contact them. I finally gave up and contact Amazon, who, as always, didn't let me down and refund me the money paid for this product with a returning label. This product MAYBE right to be used in warmer regions but NOT where temperatures are lower.

Bright, noisy, overall good.
As it natively fits E26 sockets, the larger socket for industrial lighting is an included socket adapter. For my needs the E26 was fine and that keeps the bulb to the “shortest” length. It still won’t fit in most corded hand lights but I intended a ceiling mount anyway.I ended up with the 6500K and it sure is a crisp bright light. Without a reflector, the light is equally dispensed to nearly all directions. That’s likely the reason why despite twice the brightness (5400 lumens) it feels about the same as my 2x T8 fluorescent lights (3300 lumens), which are somewhat directed down and less spread.Of course this bulb is significantly smaller than mentioned fluorescent fixture and uses less energy. The included fan is not too loud, but it's hard to ignore. It is kinda odd for a light bulb to make such noise, but it’s not a deal breaker for the garage. It remains to be seen how the fan holds up in my garage ranging from 90+F to just under freezing.I think it’s an expensive bulb by itself, but impressive considering the space savings and power compared to a fluorescent fixture.

My EYES!
This light is ridiculous, comically bright. I may actually have retina damage from looking at the wall this was shone upon. Seriously, my shadow is permanently emblazoned on the wall; I'm not even sure that paint will cover it. This is amazing. You buy! You buy one now. This is my official #1 choice for interrogation lighting. #terroristsbeware

Super bright. Great for big area lighting.
The media could not be loaded. Came with simple but nice packaging. Unscrewed my old/not so bright bulb, screw in this and I am done. Doesn’t get much easier to upgrade lighting in the garage. The light is super bright too. Light up my garage much better than the LED shop light I got from Costco. I have used it for over a week now, don’t have any problem with it. Very happy with purchase so far.It does give out a low humming sound, I believe it’s from a small fan inside the bulb. It might bother some people, but isnt a big issue for me since it’s in the garage. Definitely won’t be install one of those inside the house, but I don’t know why would anyone want to have those super bright lights in the house anyways.

Super bright
Pics were taken in daylight. This bulb is ridiculously bright and the light is clean and clear. Comparison photo is against a 60w bulb.

Get correct wattage for area to light
This item was packaged very well. It’s a great looking piece of technology. It really lite up the area I needed lite. What I’m seeing through is that flys and nats and all sort of little critters are getting sucked into the light and collecting on the bottom of the light and clogging the air flow holes. Right now it’s not a problem as it’s new but we will see. If it turns out to be a problem I will update my review ether way it goes. But for now Four Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ! Update (22 June 2019). One line of the COB is already out. Hasn’t even been fifty hour of the estimated fifty thousand hours. Bugs have totally clogged the inlets for air. The internal fan that sucks air in is not helping. The manufacturer said don’t totally enclose light. Bugs are drawn to the light thusly getting stuck in the fans inlets. Am reducing to two Stars ⭐️⭐️, Update (July 16 2019). Not a happy camper, three lines of the corn cob are out. Light has had a protective life as per the instructions. It may be the fan is getting clogged by bugs being sucked into it. Looking into it don’t seem to be clogged to bad by bugs. Calling today for a replacement. I like the light so I will try one more time. One Star ⭐️.

Fan in it for cooling, very bright, very white.
Used in garage. It's very very bright, I do not see how anyone would be unhappy with the bright white light put out by this fella. It has a built in fan that is not annoying but beware if you try to use for video the mic will pick up the fan buzz. It's bright, its very white and I'm satisfied. It's well made sturdy and the polycarbonate type material is as clear smooth and strong as modern day headlights on cars.

Superior Customer Service
I have been working with Dragon Light via email since I installed my bulb into a photosensor fixture. The bulb failed after a few minutes in the fixture. I emailed Dragon and explained the situation and they resent me another bulb without cost. They kept in contact with me until receipt of the bulb and afterwards until I "tested" the bulb. I first tested the bulb in a standard socket and used it for more than an hour without any problems whatsoever--extremely bright. I was very hesitant to "test" it in the "photosensor" fixture again as I highly suspected that it would fail again. And on que it did fail within a few minutes. I provided the results of this "testing" to Dragon and they did state they would revise their notice regarding "not to use with ballast fixtures" to include "photosensor fixtures". Now, I do not know if my fixture also had a ballast (not sure?), but the first time I wanted to try it out on that light fixture I had my doubts that it would work--and it failed. Anyway, to keep it short--I appreciate that Dragon worked with me on this. GOD bless.

1 out of two failed in less that 10 hours
Thes bulbs are really bright but also really noisy. The fan on one of the two in my light fixture started playing up in less than 10 hours making grinding noise for several minutes on initial power up like the fan is out of balance. Given the cost of the bulb it is not worth the grief of returning it.I think that I would recommend that you opt for bulbs that do not use fan cooling, even if you din't have the problems I did, it will still be the fan that is almost certainly the life limiter.

Good value & performance.
I used this in a street light which was designed to have a 150W SON lamp installed. It did have a 80W LED lamp in it before which failed after a relatively short time. The 80W lamp was three times the price, but it did not seem to be much brighter than the 50W. Hopefully it will last a lot longer the the previous one which was from a well known brand Venture Lighting.

Check the wattage and heat dissipation before fitting
Very bright replacement lamp, however, after two or three weeks I could hear a sizzling noise from te lamp I took it out and realised that around half the leds were discoloured so I didn’t want it risking a fire so sent it back, no issues from supplier so all good

Not bright enough.
I bought this to replace my dead 100W bulb on my front porch and was excited to see 500W in action. However, once installed, it was maybe twice as bright at best, certainly not what I'd expect a 500W bulb to be. Disappointed but will keep it as it is. Not worth the effort to return and purchase another 100W bulb.update: I've upped this to 4 stars as its still going strong 2 years on.

Bright, compact but rather noisy
It's certainly bright, and compact compared with similar bulbs but it is quite noisy due to having a fan in it. I bought it for a kitchen but it was far too noisy so put it in an porch light instead where the noise doesn't matter so much. Too early to tell about its durability.
