I got this for my 14 year old and he loves it. It’s a bit small for $40, but had I paid attention to the dimensions when I ordered it then I would’ve already known that. It does require batteries and doesn’t come with them so heads up on that. I think they’re AAA. It’s pretty neat and has many different shape variations. I wouldn’t buy this specific one again because it’s $40 and the size isn’t worth it, but my son loves it so that’s a plus.

I am always looking for gadgets that combine bright colorful blinking lights and geometric shapes. These lights fit the bill nicely.The lights are hexagonal in shape, each with a single USB plug on one edge, and ports on the remaining five edges. Assemble these into your preferred shape and then plug them in to a suitable USB power adapter. You can also mount these using supplied adhesive pads.The lights are quite bright and very colorful, and I love it. They are actually mesmerizing if you stare at them and let your mind drift. You can use either a wireless remote or wired controller to select between different light / color patterns, or adjust brightness. There is also a sound-activated mode where the lights will respond to music or other sounds. The microphone is in the wired controller built in to the main power supply cord, so results will vary depending on how close it is to your sound source. These hexagon lights are awesome! They're a great size and look really cool in my son's gaming room. He loves that he can make different shapes with them on his wall. The app is easy to use, and he changes the colors all the time.One night, he and his friends synced the lights to their game music, and it felt like a party! It made the whole room more exciting.For the price, these lights are a great deal. They're fun and easy to use. We definitely recommend them!

Honestly these don’t feel the best quality. They look cool and had some sick settings and customization options but sadly they stopped working after a couple weeks setting up.Comes with sticky adhesives to put on the wall which was great. Was easy to set up and app was simple to use with a TON of LED options.

These are really fun to use. You can make your own design or use one from the instructions. You can control these light easily. I find the app the easiest to use. I tried the music/sound mode and it worked pretty good. If you have kids or grandkids, they will love them.
