Sensational
the best boundary mic for $100 you'll find anywhere. Very crisp, clean vocal pickup, good siblance and very clear. Pick up area is up to six feet with minimal echo. Should be a little heavier so the cable doesn't move the mic on the table, but a bit of gaffer's tape handled that pesky cable. Not too pretty, but it did the job. Good long cable, too. Also, XLR male on pre-amp end of cable, so its a balanced output for pro use. Bought two. Sounds better than the older more expensive larger model.

Great sounding and durable for a very low price.
This mic is an exceptional value at $100. It has a high gain, and is very clean. It's fairly sturdy and I like the extra long slimline cable included. We bought a couple to used as tap mics for dance performances and they pick up everything quite well. They're not as accurate as my old Crown PCC but they're a third of the price so it's a no-brainer for most applications. I'd highly recommend these if you need a good clean sound with decent durability on a budget.

These are great mics for live theater
We are a community theater and can not afford to put body mics on everyone in a large cast. These mics offer a great alternative to allow all the cast to be heard. We place these across the front of the stage and add hanging coral mics. Once these are tuned using your Parametric EQ to prevent feedback, you can get great sound reinforcement.

It works beautifully
We are using these for our theater productions. The units are quite small, about the size of a pack of cigarettes. They are surprisingly sensitive. Our stage is 30 feet wide, but we can effectively cover it all with just one mic. However, we use three - left, center and right stage locations for productions. The only complaint I have is that I would prefer that the mini-XLR connector come out the side rather than the rear. Since we place the mics at the stage lip, which is raised, since the cable comes out the rear and the cable can only be bent so much as it runs along the lip, the mic must be moved farther out onto the stage than I would like.

Great for picking up audio for group Zoom sessions
I am not an audiophile or video recording person. I just wanted something to help Zoom with my parents and my kids. With the laptop microphone the kids had to be right up next to the laptop for my parents to hear them over zoom. I am glad I read about these boundary style microphone pattern that they use in conference call microphones. This thing just sits on the corner of my desk and I no longer have problems with parents not able to hear my kids even if they are across the room. It is small, unobtrusive, and doesnt take up huge amounts of desk space unlike other large condensor microphones. This is probably a bit overkill since I also had to buy the usb interface for the 48v power needed (went with a focusrite solution). But, overall it solved my issues and if I ever want to start a podcast I probably could pull one off with higher quality.

Great for a budget mic
We bought this for our church. It works pretty well for our needs. I would say it picks up quite well in a 3-4 ft direction from front and sides. We use it as a table mic that need to pick up several people at various distances. Our plan is to buy a couple more to put on stage and use for programs for our preschool. Traditional mics don’t pick up well enough from in front of stage

clearly not for average recording needs
Clearly this microphone is for highly specialized purposes. The description doesn't really tell you that it won't connect to any generic digital recording devices. It looks like a more modern version of a sound grabber type microphone which could be connected (back in the day) to a tape recorder. I'd assumed I could connect this to a digital voice recorder (Tascam) to amplify the internal microphone so the recording of a conversation would be more clear. WRONG! It's really too bad that it's not much more descriptive and giving examples of what it can and cannot connect to on the other end. Sadly, I needed something in a hurry for work, thought this would function fine and discovered the night before (when it arrived) that it won't connect to anything a non-musician would own. This is not for non-esoteric uses. Beware.

Lovely, sensitive boundary mic
I love this boundary mic, and have bought them for multiple sites. They are sensitive, high quality / rugged, and work like they should out of the box. Keep them away from speakers as they are prone to feedback.
