My iPhone 6S had a bad week. First, I went blueberry picking and managed to get some blueberries in my pants pocket. (Haven't figured that one out yet.) When I placed the phone in my pocket (the one with the blueberries of course), some berries got smashed and clogged up the ear speaker with sticky blueberry juicy. So I could barely hear out of it.Two days later, I was on the patio and dropped my phone on the concrete, face down. Yeah, no screen protecter, just a case protector. The drop completely shattered the screen. That was a 5pm on Thursday. I had a choice of taking it to Batteries Plus here in town for a $99 repair, or try it myself. I went inside to my computer and found the screen repair kit here on Amazon. I was skeptical, but since the screen kit also included the ear speaker, I decided to take a chance. I had the screen kit at my front door the next day by 7pm. (Prime ordering.) At 10pm, I sat down at my desk to start the repair and it was done about 30 minutes later. The included instructions are not very good (tiny photos and print), so I just went to iFixIt.com and found the instructions there. I've ordered from there before and they're a great company too.The toolkit was very nice, and something I can keep for future projects. The hardest part for me was separating the screen from the body. Apple adds a very effective sticky seal that makes for a good quality fit, but it takes a bit of a tug to get the screen loose. One tip: get a piece of tape or a flat magnet to keep the VERY tiny screws from getting lost or out of order. The screws have to go in the right places or you can damage the phone components.One other tip: There are three ribbon cables that connect from the screen to the body. They are all connected in the same small area, so one cable is over the top of another and one to the side. Best to use the included plastic spludger to get those loose. They come off pretty easily, but take your time. When connecting them back, follow the instructions on where to place pressure to ensure proper connection.Other reviews here (only a few) complain about the colors or screen quality, but I haven't seen any difference. It looks and works great, and as a bonus, I can hear through the ear speaker again since it's new too! Overall, I saved about $60 and have the satisfaction of fixing the thing myself.

Ok I was skeptical because of so many scam reviews on Amazon, particularly with a lot of cheaper Chinese made items. However I was impressed with this kit: tools are higher quality and magnetized so you don’t lose the little screws; the screen is nicely packed in a specially made cutout. Instructions are pretty good but very small - watch a video on YouTube. Was very easy to replace my screen, but I was cautious and patient and that’s why it went smoothly. Keeping my home button and it’s programmed fingerprints was very easy. You’ll need an extra hand to hold back some ribbon connections as you connect them - my daughter used a pencil to hold the other ribbons up while I attached the bottom one.After installing and before finishing I tested and worked great. Tested front camera, speaker in a call, home button, etc. - so far so good. Very clear and responsive screen and front camera with Live Photo worked great.No complaints - would buy again.Oh and as you can see the box says “Rerair” which gives it that authentic Chinese made part feel ;)

Kit has a lot of tools and there are great instructions available online. The repair is not too difficult if you have good eyesight and coordination. I’m very satisfied with the result at this price point; no more cracks or dead pixels, and touch sensitivity is great! Definitely recommended.I did mark off one star because the new display does not have the same clarity and sharpness as the original; it is pretty close however. Also, no adhesive is included with the kit which is unfortunate; you’ll have to make do with any scraps of the original sticky stuff that are still on the body of your phone.Side note: if your battery is not in excellent shape, it would be smart to replace it at the same time, while you’ve got easy access.

This is only the 2nd screen replacement kit I have purchased for my iPhone 6S, but this one is leaps and bounds better.To explain, I bought this kit because it is a completely new screen with everything already attached; this makes changing the screen out so much simpler since you do not have to disconnect and reconnect the front facing camera, headset speaker, sensor, and the metal plate. I was skeptical about this because this would imply that a different speaker, camera, and sensor are already installed on this replacement screen and that seemed unlikely. But there is most certainly all of these components already installed on your new screen and as far as I can tell, no noticeable difference in quality by my eyes. I tested all 3 components and they functioned exactly the same as my stock components did. If I end up cracking my screen for a 3rd time, I will definitely buy this kit again because of the ease that comes with its installation; it took me less than 10 minutes this time, compared to close to 2 hours with the 1st kit I bought from a different seller which did not have pre-installed components.

Love that it came with ALL THE TOOLS you need. And they weren’t like previous kits I’ve used where they send crappy tools. I will save these for other uses and projects.It took me about ten minutes to swap the broken screen with the new screen and sap over the fingerprint sensor. You must swap the sensor as it’s “hard coded” into the device programming thus unless you want the fingerprint scanner not to work. Swap it.Sure, it’s not “as good” as the original. The phone is older. So I don’t care. I might have bent the phone when dropping it or tightened a screw too much with a previous repair. It works. Works for what I need and arrived the same day for cheap as chips.So many uses for “old” iPhones.

I’ve gotten many of these and always have great service and quality! Great kits.

Disclaimer: This is not my first attempt at replacing screensI tried another kit from EFAITHFIX and the screen, once installed, had some white spots, and the keyboard/touch was not great. I think manufacturing (or assembly tolerances) made it too thick and once intalled, probably because of some pressure spots here and there, it behave poorly.But with this one, it was flawless. Easy as pie. They are both in the same price range, and while DIYREPAIR does not offer a magnetic mat to put your screws on, they supply better tools (i love that longe orange spudger tool. Oh and they give you tweezers!) AND the camera and mic are already here (which is a time saver and hassle free operation). Plus, it works well!You can feel they are not trying to resell you out of specs parts but really allow you to repair your devices at a good price.

I can say that this is the best replacement screen I ever bought. Colors and brightness are the same as the original one.

Ordered it twice. 7-8 months ago returned it because my home button doesn't worked with it. Didn't notice this time that was the same product and ordered it only because it says Amazon's choice. Now it works fine with my home button. Everything is as it should be... seems they upgrade the product. Very detailed instructions. For Sure the seller cares the product not to be returned. Highly recommend it.
