Replacement cord does not transport sound.
It connects easily to the headset and phone amplifier, but no sound is received through the headset. The Plantronics representative recommended this cord for our headset to replace a fraying cord. We ordered the cord he told us was the correct replacement cord. No sound is heard through this cord. I wonder if something needs to be clicked to make it work, but I am at a loss as to how to use this cord. I will have to do another return.

Excellent Quick Disconnect
I needed a replacement for a headset I bought about a year ago. This quick disconnect works perfectly and seems to be studier. I ordered a second one.
