Item arrived with the ROTATING RING broken into two (2) pieces. I re-glued them back together, and it now appears to be working properly.

Although I haven’t had this long enough to use it through the holiday season, I did try it out to see if it functions correctly. It has a nice appearance and the music plays with no problem, but as the Santa and reindeer move up and down there is an annoying scraping sound. There’s a two or three inch section on the base that was cracked during shipping or packing. It doesn’t detract from the appearance because it’s at the base. Over all, it’s quite nice but not the quality of the Lemax products I’ve purchased.

I purchased a Kurt Adler Santa and Reindeer as a gift. I decided to purchase again for another friend and used the BUY AGAIN option in my orders from my Amazon Prime account. What I got was a Top Treasures Santa and Reindeer. It is inferior in quality, smaller and not as detailed. When a customer uses the BUY AGAIN option they should be given the EXACT item or advised it is a SIMILAR item. I was very disappointed in the quality of this item and it cost more then the Kurt Adler one.

I added this to my Christmas village, although the music doesn't work. I didn't plan on listening to the music anyway and it was not worth sending back at this time. My only other concern, the Santa and reindeer were not lit up. My other village is very well lit, so you're able to see it.

This snowy village is just what I was looking for and lights up beautifully (battery operated so doesn't need to sit near a plug), but unfortunately I didn't catch the part (before I ordered it late one night) that Santa and his sleigh and the reindeer move up and down. Thus, they make a sort of "grinding" noise, which is somewhat annoying, so we don't turn the village on anymore. :*( I wish I could somehow unhook the moving parts and keep them stationary WHILE also keeping the snowy village lit up. I wrote and asked that question online, but didn't get any help in return. I don't feel like returning it; not sure what I'll do.... ho hum

I love Santa going up and down with the reindeers. You dont see this as much. Also, i like that it’s battery operated so I can place it anywhere in the village and not worry how to plug it.

My fault - I thought this was apart of the Department 56 Christmas Village collection. It’s not.But it is cute and my small children love seeing Santa’s team move up and down. Not sure if the price is right since it’s not apart of the collection.
