NO SUBTITLES. AMAZON PREJUDICE CONTINUES
No subtitles!! Continued Amazon prejudice against deaf and hard of hearing customers. This is 2021 for crying out loud! STOP DOING THIS.

NO SUBTITLES
We rented this video in good faith as it clearly says 'Subtitles' at every opportunity. However despite repeated attempts to expose the subtitles we were unable to do so because there are NOT SUBTITLES.We have wasted the rental fee which in itself is not a 'deal breaker' however we are disappointed at the clear misinformation and the difficulty in contacting Amazon to advise them of the situation. We are deaf and require subtitles at all times.

A powerful film with stellar performances!
After Marine William Santiago is killed before he's scheduled to be transferred, Lt. Daniel Kaffee is tasked with defending the men accused of the crime. But as the trial goes on, he soon finds himself uncovering a conspiracy and soon finds himself facing against Colonel Jessup. Will Kaffee be able to find out the truth about Santiago's death?I've always wanted to watch A Few Good Men, having only seen it be shown on TV every now and then, so I knew I had to get it on DVD! This is a phenomenal film, and the performance of Jack Nicholson is one of the most iconic moments in cinema history. Well worth watching!

Well worth another view. SPOLIER ALERT!
SPOILER ALERT!! (Don't read this if you don't like hearing about the ending etc..)Forgotten how GREAT this movie was! Well worth another view.Classic lines, powerful acting. Ambiguous and intelligent, thought-provoking content. Very well-paced throughout with a satisfying ending - if not an entirely happy one.I'm not that keen on Cruise or Bacon but enjoyed both of their performances in this movie. I can't find words descriptive enough for Jack Nicholson's performance. Try sheer genius!

Too expensive to buy when UHD playback is not guaranteed
This is a good film but I suspect most readers will be interested in the concept of downloading a UHD film and that is what I will review. When you download a UHD film the film automatically goes from UHD to HD when the site senses the internet connection is not fast enough to cope. By pausing the film you can see whether the film is currently playing on HD or UHD and I could see the film was changing between the formats throughout playback. While the film looked great it was almost impossible to tell when you were watching HD or UHD. The issue being that UHD TVs upscale. It is true that the visual quality was first rate but I don't think it’s worth buying a UHD film to download. When Amazon start offering UHD for rental that would be fine but otherwise this is just too expensive at present. If you want to buy a UHD film then I think the best option is to buy a UHD Blu ray (this format should be out imminently) for guaranteed UHD playback.

Fantastic
I was raied in the late 80's and early 90's so Tom Cruise films were all we got (We had four channels) but I still love them

Always worth a watch
(3.5 stars) Nearly 30 years after it came out, there's precious little new to be said about this film. Some of the music has a jarring '80s feel to it in retrospect, and some of Sorkin's dialogue tics start to grate on modern ears, but overall it's a very strong piece of work. Every one of the principals gets their grandstanding moment and there's some wonderful verbal jousting to feast your eyes on. An ageless classic that's always worth a watch.

Amazing performances and a good plot. What's not to like.
A young Tom Cruise leads a belting cast, including the mesmerising Jack Nicholson, in a very well made film. The story is possibly a bit thin but any shortcomings are slight and more than made up for by fine acting. Nicholson's aggression and power pour out of his mouth and body language in a masterful way. Supporting cast members do a good job also.
