Q: Are the red flower feeding ports removable? Squirrels and raccoons pull off the removable ones on my current feeder.

I believe the ports are well-fastened on this feeder. It is quite sturdy, I’m on our second season using it and we have lots of squirrels and raccoons also.

Q: Odd question: does this have little rubber "tubes" inside each feeding port or are there just holes for the hummers to stick their tongues in?

No rubber. Holes have smooth round silver lining. Birds do not have any trouble drinking.

Q: Can anyone suggest the correct wasp guards for these tips by chance on these feeders ?

Took care of mine with a fly swatter.

Q: What are the actual dimensions of the feeder (not the package) with respect to height and circumference?

the height is 10" ----dia. at top of bottle is 3.5" ----the dia of base (including the perching half circles ) is about 9"
