Catches mice!
If you do not want to make your own bucket mouse trap then I highly recommend this product.Easy to assemble and I used peanut butter and bird seed that I put on a small paper plate in the bucket. I have caught 4 mice in two days. The only thing that you must be very careful with is during assembly and if you want to remove a ramp to move the trap or during assembly, make sure that the plastic is warm. It becomes very brittle in cold weather. I have broken the tabs that fit into the slots and now made my own ramps with strips of wood.Overall, this is a great live trap!I release the caught mice far away at a park for them them to be a part of the food chain. Make sure you check the traps at least daily as the mice will not survive if trapped in a bucket for more than a day or less with cold or hot weather. Thus defeating the idea of a live trap and a horrible, scary way to die. What can I say, I like all critters. I just do not want them in my vehicles, house or my sheds. Let them live elsewhere.

Rat Trap
Easy to put together, best looking animal- friendly trap we've bought. Especially if it happens to trap something other than rats, easy to release them unharmed.

Doesn't work
Because of the design you have to be careful with baiting. Otherwise you over weight the trap door and it won't work. I've had better luck in my barns just putting feed into a 5 gallon bucket to trap mice. Very cheaply made and easy to break while assembling.

Works, but handle carefully
It works but very fragile, ramp tabs break off easily

They really do work!
We live in the country and are surrounded by fields so we get mice visiting often. Bait/poison helps but you’re taking the chance of the mice dying inside the house (a smell you don’t want). Traps are ok, but a pain to keep resetting. This is the way to go. We put a few inches of water in the bucket (to help with cleanup) and used peanut butter for bait and got great results! FYI the buckets aren’t included but check local restaurants in your area, some of them are more than happy to give them to you for no cost instead of throwing them away.
