Bought these two after discovering remote control was possible on my Samsung smartphone after buying a phone stand where one r/c came free. I suspected my grandsons might enjoy them.... and they certainly do! 10 year old grandson installed it on my other 10 year old grandson's iPad at our xmas party and took the other one away to use on his father's old iPhone. Now I receive Stop Motion videos from both of them. Definitely a best buy.

This is the best one I have tried. It has an on/off switch which is reassuring in as much as it was produced with some thought, not just banged out for a quick buck!

I bought this to use with my iPhone to make 'stop-motion' videos. I needed to have the phone on a stand and be able to take photos without disturbing it by pressing the button manually. It works well with no delay.It will have intensive use but seems good quality and I have no reason to think it won't last.

These remotes are very simple to use as once you set them up it’s a matter of just clicking the button. They are Bluetooth connected so you set your phone to search for device and turn the remote on with the small button on the right side. In my case the phone found the remote straight away as ‘ ATUMTEK’ once paired you’re ready to go. The remote works once you are in your camera app either in photo mode or video mode. When you have your shot setup just press the camera button button and the picture is taken. With the video, one click starts the second click ends the video. It’s as simple as that. I was using these with an iPhone but they can also be used with an android device with Bluetooth. The package comes with two remotes, two wrist straps and an instruction sheet. Both remotes also come pre powered by a GR2032 cell battery. I would recommend these remotes for ease of use and at the current price point.

It was so easy to set up on my Samsung phone to use on my spotting scope.

I got this to take a few stopmotion frames where the phone is mounted on the tripod. I've had other solutions in the past, but it usually became finicky having to either use my voice, or wait for the device to connect, or plug it into the USB-C port which prevented me charging. These little Bluetooth remotes do the job perfectly. You can use the switch on the side to conserve power, then flick it on and wait a couple of seconds for it to pair to the device. No need to keep pressing and holding to pair it again, or check if it's still connected. It has worked flawlessly every time. I've tested the range and it seems very reasonable for a Bluetooth device. I'd recommend these!
