Worth the money - I have several other Howard Miller clocks - VERY reliable, trouble free.Sleek update for a traditional style. Nice design feature is the use of the same brushed silver metal for the second hand and the trim ring between the cherry wood and the clock lens. Uses one AA battery. About 5 minutes my clock found the satelite and set itself. Keeps good time- stays synched with the tiem showing from my Directv. I live in a rural mountainside area that has very poor cell coverage... was I happy to see this clock find it's satelite so fast? YES! I was. Slight ticking sound if you stand 2 feet from the clock, cannot hear it 8 feet away. Very complete & easy to understand instructions. Can be set manually if you do not want to use the satelite function. I wanted an accurate and professional clock for an office wall. Many of the "satellite" clocks are cheap looking or plastic.This is a nice real wood with a cherry finish. It looks great on the wall and keeps good time.A nice upgrade from the cheaper plastic looking models.There is no ticking or any noise from the mechanism. So, if you're sensitive to a ticking clock, this one works.

This atomic clock is a lovely design, simple and attractive, and it performs well. In the beginning, it seemed fussy and inaccurate, even settling into the eastern time zone, although I had clearly indicated Pacific time as my preference. In fact, it was close to a week before it meshed with Fort Collins time. But once it did, it revealed itself as reliable and--pardon the pun!--on time. One small gripe: In the advertising, there is no indication of possible pitfalls (e.g., it shouldn't be located too close to a computer or other electronic devices, it should be close to a window, it should face Fort Collins, Colorado). It would therefore be helpful to know, ahead of ordering, what the parameters are for mounting this clock, so that it will function optimally in its new home. That said, I am enjoying this beautiful (and now accurate) atomic clock.

The clock is beautiful, but came with no instructions. The buttons on the back are not well labeled. There’s a daylight savings button, but no indicator that you have it “on or off” daylight savings time. I bought the clock a few weeks before the time change, and crossed my fingers hoping I had accidentally set it correctly. The time changed, but the clock did not. After several annoying days trying to push the button and hoping it would set correctly overnight, we finally gave up and set it to a different time zone so it would show the right time. Very disappointed and wondering if my clock’s daylight saving button is broken. I would have spent less time with a non-atomic clock.

Awesome wall clock. I didn't realize that it was auto set which it syncs to a radio signal. I was trying to set it without reading the directions, but once I read them..I was like..>Awwww, I get it now! LOL. You will love it. Overall, I think it was a great product but a little overpriced.

It was what I expected. It took me a little while to get the atomic feature going, but when all else fails read the directions. The clock looks and works great.

Just received the Howard Miller Murrow atomic wall clock last week for my home office. Very nice looking with easy-to-read large numerals, and so far, time keeping has been very accurate. Clock is also vert quiet - don't hear any ticking. Daylight saving time starts next week, so I expect the time to adjust ahead automatically, which was the primary reason I purchased an atomic clock. I now have atomic clocks throughout my home and no longer have to go through the house changing all the clocks twice a year.

I've had this clock for a few months now. It works well. I can see it from across my kitchen--even without my glasses on. I like the numbers instead of Roman numerals. Someone else commented that he would have preferred that the second hand be black so he could see it from a ways off. I don't really have a problem with the silver color and I can see it from across my kitchen. Maybe it would be easier on the eyes if it was black, but silver is what you get. It is a darker color wood that the photo seems to indicate.

This is an elegant looking clock. Unfortunately, it is designed to pick up a time signal from a transmitter in the USA and not from the UK or the European transmitter. You could still use it by setting it manually but that rather defeats the purpose of buying a radio controlled clock. It would have been useful if this fact had been made clear on Amazon’s UK website, from which I had ordered it.
