Modern Art. A History from Impressionism to Today

Following extensive spinal surgery, during the recovery phase, I rediscovered my love of art and the history of art. I already owned a few Taschen volumes but decided to build my collection. Buying used on Amazon is a great way to make this somewhat more affordable. I even found a few new titles selling cheaper than the used one on eBay. If you love high quality books, love art, love reading about art movements and artists across all genres - these Taschen books are hard to beat.

Still working my way through the book, nice compact size (but nearly 700 pages but full of quality images and interesting information and facts.

Another great publication from TASCHEN, lovely written book and in-depth.

We really like this book and it is in excellent condition.

Firstly, be aware this book is standard paperback size! You might reasonably expect this book to be coffee table size, or at least regular hard back size (I know I did). Yes, I know the dimensions are listed, but who looks at those?With that said, everything else about the book is great and I would recommend this to anyone who needs a handsome looking and very thorough encyclopaedia of modern art on the shelf.

Spoiled by poor print quality and poor relationship between the art talked about and the art on the pages.

I enjoy having this art book added to my extensive collection of art books. It is relatively small in size (6" x 8"), 693 pages and includes many photos and excellent explanations. The paper quality and binding are good.
