Rock hard liquorice. Two years past its sell by date. Given one star because zero was not an option.

Delicious

Different than i expected and good. First off the licorice is pretty freakin nice. Its soft and has great flavors. The lemon caught me off guard. I thought it would be more tart, like lemon curd. Its seems like a very high sugar paste made with powder sugar. Not bad. I will happily eat them. I might order this kind of licorice again. Its addictive.

I read about this treat in a Catharina Ingelman-Sunberg book that takes place in Sweden. They were eating Fazer Lemon Lakeisti in the book and I had to try it. This candy is delicious. It came all the way from Helsinki, Finland and I got it in just seven days to the Detroit, MI area!

I didn’t necessarily think lemon and black licorice sound like they go together, but this is delicious. I ordered it on a 3 am-can’t-sleep whim and have ordered it multiple times since. It is different than the usual candies available in the US, but so good!
