I like to supplement with vitamin D and I was happy to find this brand for children, My 9 year old says its taste good but is a bit chewier than others she takes. I'd like to believe the claim that it is more effective than other brands and that is absorbed faster but I don't really have a way to measure that. The cost is pretty pricey for a bottle of vitamins for kids but if it does what it says it does than I would say its worth it. I'll determine how accurate the claim is once I finish the 60 count bottle.

For adults, more can be taken as needed.I've seen more organic versions - some of the ingredients are a tongue-twister - which is important to some people. I'll use these up, but it wouldn't be my first choice for gummi Vitamin D supplements.

Once I opened the bottle, all I could smell was nail polish remover. It was everything I could do to force myself to try these so I could best review them. I actually had to take a gummi out, and let it air out for a while before I was willing to taste it. They're very firm, very chewy gummies. I held my nose as I popped it in so the acetone scent wouldn't cloud the taste, and they actually do taste pretty good. But then there's an aftertaste that's very chemically. I cannot make my kids take these. The rest of the bottle went straight in the trash.
