Good solution to an everyday problem. Removes broken screws without stripping screw. Every tool box should have this.

Did not work.
The bit side is not long enough and I had to use my own bits to drill the hole in the busted screw and then use the thicker end on these extractors to get the damaged screw out. Very frustrating but it is an inexpensive product and I already had the additional bits. Would recommend spending a little more for a nicer product that works better.

Super useful!
Super useful! While I've only used it on one stripped screw so far, I'm already glad we got this! As anyone dealing with a stripped screw knows - all you need to need to do is get it out and this kit did it for us! Seems to be well-made, comes in a convenient carrying case for the set, and comes with a range of standard sizes. Says it works on damaged, embedded, rusted, stripped, broken, painted-over screws and bolts so I feel prepared for anything we may come across. Working out well so far - we're happy with it and it's at a super fair price!

Fits in a drill and works for smaller screws. Includes combo drill/extraction bit
Finally, a set for smaller screws and with lots of threads to ‘bite’ into the stuck/damaged screw. I have a set for bigger bolts and it’s a headache to use since it’s a square shank and hard to put pressure on. These bits have a hex shank so it fits easily in a drill with one end to drill a hole in the damaged bolt, and then the other to extract it. The extract end has a lot of threads to help bite into the bolt. Of course you run the drill counterclockwise to drill and extract with this set. Since I don’t have a stuck screw right now (they never happen at convenient times), I did a test in the garage. A slow speed and firm pressure on the drill worked best.Note that this set is for smaller screws/bolts so don’t be surprised the small size of the case. It doesn’t take up much space in my toolbox.
