I use these to sift dirt out of my rocks wherever a weed might pop up. I have have been using these for several months with no bends or rust.

So far, I have sifted a lot of dirt through these mesh sifters. They could use handles on the edges, but they fit the tops of my 5-gallon buckets perfectly. Without handles they are more difficult to pick up off the bucket and shake. I would buy them again as they are strong. It would have been nice to get a mesh with a wider opening in the pack. The sizes are similar.

The screens were much sturdier than I expected. Works perfectly for my meal worm project, sorting out the worms and beetles.

Wanted something to sift out small particles out of my compost. These are perfect. The smallest screen removes worm cocoons and most seeds leaving me with fine rich soil.

I found that during use the filters were prone to falling into the bucket I was straining into. Double stacking the buckets helped some, but if the lip was just slightly larger so it caught better this product would be much better.

I use them to classify paydirt and screen for gem stones. If you are planning a trip to Crater of Diamonds National Park in Arkansas, this is a must have set. Also good for do it your self gold panners or if you buy mixed paydirt from the Amazon sellers. Run your pay through the progressively smaller screens to weed out larger stones and aggregate. You can find a lot of semi precious stones that way as well like garnets, quartz and aggies. Then pan the remaining dirt for gold bits and small gemstones. I like to get a bag or 2 from sellers to keep me busy in the winter. These screens fit a 5 gal bucket which is convenient. They are well constructed and should last a long time.I am sure they will be awesome for sifting potting soil and home composting. I haven't tried them for that, but should spring is on the way.

I like the feel of quality in these strainers. They fit a 5-gal bucket nicely and are just the ticket for straining play sand for my sandblaster. For my application it would be nice to have one more strainer with a finer mesh but it works as is and so far no clogging.

This set of supposedly stainless steel sifters clearly is not made out of stainless steel because they rusted after the very first use. They do fit well over the bucket and could be actually very useful if they were truly made out of stainless steel, but the way they are I do not see them last much at all.
