Works well for normal keyboards, but not the Rockband (XBOX360) ones
This adapter works very well with "real" keyboards. However, this adapter will not work with the MIDI port on the Rockband keyboard. I only tested it on the Xbox360 Rockband keyboard, but don't count on it. So, if you're looking for an adapter for the Rockband keyboard, you're probably out of luck here. EDIT: The USB port is fragile and breaks easily. Got broken pretty quick

Kept losing MIDI connection randomly.

This does NOT work with Apple products
No matter how I tried, I could NOT get this cable to work with my Mac. This is misleading. Buy something different and better or you'll be wasting your money.

Absolutely Do Not Buy
Using this to connect my FCB1010 board to my mac. The thing sparks when I plug it in and the "IN" cable gets blazing hot before ceasing to work. Avoid this like the plague. Don't make the mistake I made by thinking I could cheap out.

This item didn't work for me at all but I can't give you a reason why. I bought another brand that looked identical and it worked perfectly. I discovered that some of these items are touch and go so my only suggestion would be don't destroy the packaging so you can return it if it doesn't work!

Works well
Works great on my Yamaha piano and my laptop. A fraction of the price of an official Yamaha cable. I read that you need to download Yamaha's drivers and I had a problem installing them, but (using Windows 10) it turned out I didn't need the driver anyway - works as a plug and play.

Tut was er soll unter Mac OSX 10.10.5 ;)
Ich habe dieses Produkt gekauft, um ein Acuna 88 Midi-Keyboard mit einem Macbook Pro unter OSX 10.10.5 zu verbinden.Funktionstests waren Aufnahmen mit dem aktuellen Garageband sowie dem rüstigen Logic Pro 9 (von 2011).Ergebnis:Der TIE Adapter wurde auf Anhieb vom Mac erkannt und lässt sich auf Anhieb problemlos mit beiden Programmen verwenden (ohne Treiber). Eine hörbare Latenz konnte ich nicht feststellen.===> Tut was er soll ;)P.S.: einzelne Rezensenten haben Probleme beim Anschluss von Yamaha Geräten bzw. unter Windows. Falls Ihre Hardware in diese Kategorien fällt, empfehle ich Ihnen, auch die kritischen Rezensionen zu lesen.P.P.S.: in die Bewertung von 5 Sternen fliesst natürlich auch der extrem niedrige Preis ein! Ich verfüge für spezielle Anwendungsfälle auch über ein zweites Midi-Interface... aus dem 250 € Preissegment. Das wiegt aber auch 2,5kg. Für eine zuverlässige Heimstudiolösung wird man wahrscheinlich mehr ausgeben wollen. Aber als schnelle, leichte / portable Lösung ziemlich unschlagbar.Update: hat leider nur 2 Jahre gehalten :(

Interfaccia MIDI-USB marca TIE
Ho alcuni synth con interfaccia MIDI che per essere usati con una DAW, nel mio caso FL Studio, richideno un'interfaccia MIDI-USB. Finora ho usato con successo l'interfaccia della scheda audio Focusrite Scarlett 2i4, ma in alcuni casi può essere scomodo usare la scheda per il collegamento a causa di problemi di spazio. Questa interfaccia TIE sembrava la soluzione al mio problema, ma purtroppo non funziona assolutamente con la mia Roland SPD-8, tranne che per un casuale avvio della riproduzione su FL Studio. Con il mio Arturia Minibrute sembra andare meglio, dato che apparentemente la connessione IN/OUT sembra funzionare, ma all'improvviso rimane bloccata una nota e la pitch wheel e la modulation wheel avviano la riproduzione di FL Studio regolandone la velocita, quindi non non il pitch/modulazione del suono, ma della velocità di riproduzione! Accessorio assolutamente inservibile per me. Mi attivo per la restituzione...

Interfaccia “Midi class compliant”
Arrivato nei tempi previsti per collegare iDock di Focusrite alla mia vecchia tastiera tramite Midi. Funziona perfettamente !!!!!Confermo quindi che è “Midi Class Compliant”, requisito necessario per funzionare con iDockFunziona quindi con tutte le app di iPad, latenza leggermente percepibile ma accettabile.Ottimo acquisto (marzo 2021)
