It states on the bottle that it's organic, but there is no certified organic seal.

Q: What should the color and aroma of the oil be? I received a bottle that seems to be rancid.

Mine is a golden yellow. Doesn't smell like oats, just oil to me but I don't have a great sense for smell. I would know rancid, always a bitter smell. I liked the Oat Butter I got on Amazon better. Closest oil to natural skin is Jojoba essential oil.
