It is made of metal instead of plastic. The only thing is the front screen does not have a protector on it like the back of the case does. Also they said there was extra sticky tabs in case you need it but my case did not come with it.

This is a very nice case, however it cost so much that I literally had to finance it through Affirm. I was looking for a case to replace the totally awesome SUPER DUTY case that i already have and am totally happy with, so obviously finding something to replace something you are already happy with is difficult! The only reason I am replacing the case I have is because I am adding a new holster/mount to my motorcycle and the only way to make it work is by putting an adhesive piece on the back of my phone. The company only guarantees adhesion if the adhesive is placed in contact with certain materials and it also has guidelines on the surface texture. The ONLY heavy duty case that I could find that meets these guidelines was the Ghostek. While I have admired Ghostek cases for a long time, I guess when I finally received mine I was a little, no a lot let down! I expected this case to truly have multi-layer protection and a bolt together frame EXCEEDING the parameters of the case I have now! Instead I get a case that has adhesive instead of screws/bolts, has some built-in cushioning, but nothing remotely as good as what I am using now, AND comes with NO PROTECTION for the exterior screen. This means I'm going to have to spend more money to secure it! So while this is a marginally heavy duty phone case, it is nothing worth the $85.00 it costs, especially when the bolt together multilayer case, with built-in screen protector that I have now cost almost half that! The only reason I haven't sent it back (and believe me you have no idea how bad I need that money) is because I have to have someway to carry my phone on my motorcycle! I hope that Ghostek gets their stuff together! I'd like to have a case that rivels the Ghostek cases I've seen in the past!

Front peice literally blocks the left side of your front screen. It blocks it so much you cannot use the swipe gesture to go back. Also, it looks bad because the screen is uneven since the right side is fine but the left side is blocked. Insane.Materials are great and asthetic is great, but on such an expensive case they should know better than to literally block usability of your device.Also, the hidge protection is HUGE. It really doesnt need to be this big. Which also means you cannot lay your phone flat on a table! Another reason I am returning the case.Also, a case this expensive should at least have mag safe built in. I knew before purchasing it didnt have it, but seriously.I will continue to use my phone without a case because nobody can seem to figure it out.

Wish it had s-pen holder and a kick stand.Other than that...awesome coverage of the phone and it is made of metal and stronge plastic.

Ordered this case after having issues with a few others breaking and not lasting long. I was very impressed by the sturdiness and feel of this case. My only regret was I was not able to get my hands on one of the limited editions ones that was thinking about. However, I do love the color and the look and feel of this case.
