FastRackO Gauge 48" x 96" (4' x 8') Oval Track Set

Exactly as expected. I actually had to take a few peices of track out so it could fit on the board under our tree. Much easier than the old lionel track with clips at the connections. This just clicks together. Little tough sometimes but once i got it, it doesn't disconnect from the trains running. I didn't even need to screw it down (only will run it a few times for my nephew)

Sturdy, well made, look good, trains roll smoothly along.

It would have been five stars but the delivery was missing two of the four 5-inch long tracks. Excellent Customer Service! After a call to HobbySpeed the missing track arrived 2 days later! Changed rating to 5 stars.

Purchased the Polar Express steam locomotive and its three passenger cars. Initial purchase of train came with limited number of "fast track" tracks. Purchased the 48' x 96' track. Combined tracks that came with set and the 48' x 96' oval addition. Was able to operate the train that operated on the parameter of my 6' x 8' train platform. Also purchased the 72 watt transformer to insure train had enough power to maintain a constant speed on the larger layout. Purchase of additional track and transformer insured peak performance of the Polar Express train set!

Purchased it for use with my brass O-scale K-4 class Pacific locomotive as it was intolerant of tubular 3-rail tracks. It runs smoothly and efficiently on the Fastrack with no derailments. Exactly what I was looking for.
