I love these
They fit good and do a decent amount of protection from heat. Unless youre directly next to the weld pool which im assuming is why others gave them a bad review. Ive been close in some tighter spaces and yea it gets hot but it was right next to the weld pool….. they work great and are super comfortable and with a bit of time loosen up a little

Good all purpose glove, worth every penny.
These gloves are awesome for MIG welding, they have the drag patches on the cuff and side of the hand, great for long passes. I do alot of heavy acetylene welding as well, and these gloves provide enough dexterity to finger feed rod, and I can get as close as six inches to a number 4 welding tip before they get to hot. These have just enough padding to reduce grinding vibrations as well. The only reason they are not five star is that the run a little small, and after the contract from over exposure to heat they get really small.

I work at a factory building pig pens, feeders and gates. My gloves would get torn up from handling the metal rods and plates way before they got cooked. While not cheap, these gloves have been the most durable I have bought on Amazon. They are thoughtfully reinforced in the common wear spots. The thumb webbing has a thin strip of leather sewed over the seam which is nice. There is also extra padding on the cuffs and side so if you are dopey like me and accidentally lean on some hot metal at least once a day, you'll appreciate the extra protection. . They are pretty easy to move in and are less restrictive than other thicker gloves.

Windproof !
I bought these for motorcycle riding , some might say I'm loopy & they would be at least partially correct , but these gloves are GREAT for riding. The pigskin palms are thick yet have great flexibility , the cowhide is also thick & flexible ,just not as much . They offer great dexterity for efficient & safe riding. They are very well stitched making them windproof & very warm at 80 mph on cold nights , yet still are cool & comfy in 85 degree sun.......& they look great ! I soaked mine in very hot water then half dry in machine then put on semi wet to dry to my hand shape ,.....Super Snug

As everyone else says it runs extremely small. I have skinny fingers and usually wear large but xl is almost too small with these. So far so good but I have my doubts on how long the pigskin fingers will last. I assumed the black parts were stronger but they aren't. I love the dexterity I get with these and the drag pads are nice. I mig weld aluminum everyday for my job so I'll be putting these to the test.

I purchased this but haven't used it yet other than trying it on. I followed some reviewers advice and got a size larger than the usual L size I wear. That being said, the gloves feel good. It's soft like it's been broken in and again, I still haven't used it because of one thing. The XL size I got fits nicely around my hand but the fingers are just longer so my fingers are about 3/8" from the tip. I wear Miller, Kobalt, Lincoln welding gloves and the L are perfect and so are the L size Mechanix gloves.

Nice construction, Runs very small
Nicely made, nice drag patch and everything. A bit thick to call it a TIG glove. My only big problems are with sizing and heat infiltration. First off I normally wear L or XL gloves. These definitely run small, and the fingers are short enough that the stitching (where the fingers meet the palms) hurts my hands if I close my hand into a fist. I would consider them to be more like a M size. Secondly, heat seems to pour right through them. My hands get burning hot in no time. This would probably be mitigated if they were true to size. Wouldn't buy again unless they made them larger.

Working great in nasty Michigan winter!!
Awesome gloves! Purchased them for working on my 10 acres for carrying, splitting wood. Also use them in my home to add firewood to my wood burning stove. They are fantastic. I used mink oil on the leather to break them in initially and proved to work extremely well. Feel great the 1st time you use them and comfort improves the more you use them. Use mink oil on them every week to keep them in good shape! My wife even loves them!!! haha
