By following the instructions I was able to avoid damaging the fingerprint sensor. I did not have to remove that. The included tools were helpful.It was not easy to get the back off the phone, but I did it. The instructions call the back "rear glass."The battery fit and it runs the phone for a long time - almost as good as new.

I was excited about being able to replace the old battery on my Pixel. The kit includes lots of items however the "detailed repair guide" doesn't exist. Just a little sheet with photos and arrows and minimal instruction. So I emailed for a video link. The video was so difficult to understand because of the heavy accented voice over. There is no glue included in the kit to reattached your screen. There is however, a sheet of sticky paper which I think takes the place of glue. I'll never know because there are no instructions on what it's for, along with several other items in the box. Although it looks like you've got everything you'll need, without proper written or video instructions, you may as well save the aggravation and take your phone to a shop for a new battery.

Battery is to wide to fit in its compartment. I've tried for 30 mins now and the battery just doesn't fit between the left and right walls of the battery compartment. Original battery fits fine. I've verified it's the battery intended for this phone (Pixel 4a 5G)

This product offers all the tools you need for a DIY project, which is great. However, the included wet wipes were completely dried out, making them unusable.

This JE40 Battery Replacement was a perfect fit for my Motorola "motoG7 play" cell phone. It took me 60 minutes to remove the old battery and install this new replacement battery. I went slow and was careful not to damage seals and other items. I did not have to detach the fingerprint reader, and I worked carefully not to damage the connection. I really like that this battery replacement kit includes the battery, phillips screwdriver, plastic shims (to pry the cell phone case open), quality seals, and everything else needed to get the job done. The new battery works perfectly, it charges quickly. I fully charged the battery to 100% and let it run down to less than 10% before recharging it to full charge, in a cycle three times. It takes about 2.5 days for the new battery to run from 100% down to less than 10%. This replacement battery is working great for me and I recommend it to you.

My battery on my ancient pixel 3 was going bad. I would have to charge it multiple times during the day. So I decided to change it myself. Once you get through the difficult task of getting the back cover off, this battery fits perfectly. And now it'll last the entire day on one charge depending how much I use it. I feel like it lasts longer than when it was brand new. You can't go wrong with this battery!

Not for people that can't work with their hands. Good vision helps too. Not the easiest repair I've done. The written instructions were not great, but seller provided video links are better. Phone is repaired. Original battery was about ready to explode. I'm very satisfied.

This was purchased for my Pixel 7 Pro. Needed because the existing battery had failed and I was without a phone. This new battery installed easily but apparently is slightly thicker (couldn't compare with the existing battery due to swelling) and will not allow the screen to fully contact with the back of the phone. I confirmed this with a trip to my local pjone repair shop. Rather than try again and wait another week, I'm replacing the phone and using this one as a trade-in.Message is be careful to check battery dimensions!!
