It is Janis Joplin with that distinctive voice that sings the blues and lays her emotions on the line from her turbulent life. Brilliant!

Would have got 5 stars but case was smashed great Album though!

What a loss to music, Janis was cruelly mocked for her looks, which shows how shallow her detractors were. Her voice and stagecraft elevated her to heights unmatched since her demise until today and until eternity. She has no equal because she sang with true raw emotion and truly was a beautiful person. It is my desire to have her full catalogue of music in my collection. Absolutely talented totally dedicated to the music she still rocks and I wished I could have had a drink with her and the Holding Company.

A recent bereavement made me want to hear some heart wrenching music. Janis is so good at this. I have been a fan for many years and some of these tracks are my favourites. She was taken too soon. For one so young she really understood the pain of life

Had aJanis size hole in my music collection, so purchased this “ best of”, pleased with amount of tracks, keeps getting better the more I listen.

great value for money all my favourite tracks a must buy for all those who like great blues music and fans of Joplin
