Shoes are exactly as described and look even better in person. Soles are hard, extremely grippy, and easy to get on and off. They give a great floor feel and are comparable to lifting barefoot, just with a heel lift to help with form. Honestly feel like slippers and are perfect for powerlifting. I'm a women's size 8.5 pretty much all across the board and the 8.5/6.5 is definitely a wider/roomier fit. For reference my true foot size is a euro 39.5 which is in-between sizes so I typically go up to 40/us womens 8.5. Probably would have worked but I prefer a snug fit so I sized down and they fit perfect. The toe of my bigger foot just barely brushes the tip of the shoe when i squat but the material will definitely stretch with time. They do run wide so if you have a narrow foot, size down. For those with wide feet, order your typical size. Everyone else with "normal" feet, choose your typical shoe size for a roomier fit or size down for a snug fit. Can't wait to get some heavy lifts in!***update***After about 4 Squat sessions the material stretched and they now fit perfect. Ladies, I absolutely recommend going a half size smaller than your normal shoe size since the shoes run wide

I had deadlift shoes but not squat shoes. A teammate got a pair of these and commented on how they thought they really helped. So I got a pair and I can tell the difference in being able to achieve depth. The shoes feel nice. The heal rubs a bit when my sock isn't high, but in meets I wear tall socks so that isn't a big problem. I appreciate the price since so much of the powerlifting gear is expensive.

I got these expecting them to fit and they did not. They were way to small they fit my son which is a size 8 i ordered 9.5. If you order these go up about a size and a half.

My back no longer hurts while using them! Pretty stylish too!
