Great Mic
Quality is incredible and the microphone sounds so much more professional that a headset mic or other mics iv used before. It's easy to setup and sounds amazing, a boom arm is a must though on the desk I got a little too much noise from my desk even with the ai stuff on but that's mostly my environment, most people might not have that same issue.

Good introduction xlr microphone.
Very good microphone. Amazing sound quality. Not a big fan of the steal series software however it works. Good introduction xlr microphone.

Disappointing mic quality and cheap feeling materials for the price
It's a lovely looking mic but it doesn't feel as good of quality as it should considering the price, the elastic cords holding it to the stand are cheap and the stand itself feels cheap. This wouldn't have bothered me too much because as I said, when it's on the desk with the light on the bottom and you're not touching it, it does look lovely. However, the mic quality is bad, people said it sounded quiet and recording myself and playing it back I could see what they mean - it's just much quieter than my Yeti even with the gain turned up. I returned it.

Amazing Mic!
The microphone came fully put together so its easy to set up and everyone I have spoke to has said its been a massive improvement. With the steel series software you can install, it means you can customise the use of the microphone, and it also lets you customise all media output and input devices through your device. The microphone has customisable setting for the brightness of the mute x and the colours of the mic input volume, it also has a light on the bottom which you can customise in any way.The mic uses a simple usb-c to usb connection so it will likely connect to most devices.I love this mic and will use it for the foreseeable future 10/10

A quality condenser mic, but it's pricey.
I have to admit, I was unfamiliar with SteelSeries until I got this mic, but I'm quite impressed with the build quality and performance. This is a fairly expensive mic, and it's facing some tough competition from established brands, but it fares rather well.It arrives attractively boxed and is well protected inside. The box is weighty, which is always good! Inside the box is the mic itself (fitted to a shock-mount and a weighted desktop stand), a boom arm bracket/adaptor, a decently long USB-C cable, and an instruction book. It all looks and feels like a premium product. The mic looks really stylish, sleek and professional. It's suspended in a sprung shock-mount to eliminate extraneous noise. You can have it fitted onto the desktop stand, or attach it to a boom arm. I chose the latter as I already had a counterbalanced boom arm.You can use the mic as is, or you can download the Sonar audio suite to gain access to more features.Though this mic is aimed at gamers and streamers, it's great for use as a general mic, and even if you never even download the software, it's still a really good mic. It's even good enough for vocals if you're a musician.Audio quality is very good indeed. Of course, you can tweak levels to your preference, but the native audio pickup is very good. Clarity is excellent and is produces a rich sound with a lot of depth.Combined with the Sonar software, you can modify things further. I'm still getting to grips with it, but you can do things like set custom EQ levels, add noise reduction and even control the built in RGB lights.Overall, this is an impressive mic, but it does come at a high price. There are a lot of option out there for this kind of condenser mic, and while I don't think this SteelSeries Alias has any killer features that put it head and shoulders above any of the competitors, it is a quality mic and worthwhile investment if you're a serious streamer, gamer, or record podcasts.
