Excellent product. Can’t believe how good it sounds. Only downside is the under saddle bridge has slightly changed the sound of my guitar when it’s unplugged. It’s slightly muted. Great when plugged in though. I intend to use pickup and condenser mic when recording and so having the best of both worlds. Great product

Amazing product! Best acoustic guitar amp I’ve heard. Chosen it after a lot of research for my Martin I really wanted to keep the original sound of the guitar even when plugged in, and a microphone system is the only way really. Had no issues with feedback so far in small venues (50-100 people). The presence adjustment is really useful, and the sound quality amazing.

As a microphone it's only as good as the EQ that it is processed through , which you will have to purchase in addition to this product .

A1 fitted today in my 2012 Gibson Hummingbird.. Lovely natural tone and great with chorus. Easy to fit and an improvement on the standard Anthem baggs that came in the guitar. Very happy.

Beautiful sound ,wanted this for my Martin D28.

Easy to install and sounds great.

Sounded very thin and brittle on my Martin D28. Could be made to sound ok with lots of EQ but never quite right (bass very "boxy"). Changed it for the Anthem which I have in my other guitars which sounds excellant.

At the recommendation of a fellow guitarist I tried a Lyric. The sound is so good that I’ve installed several. From a jumbo-body baritone to a little 0-sized parlor guitar, it has worked great.

What an awesome pickup! I am VERY happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who wants to add or upgrade the pickup on their acoustic guitar. I installed it in my Taylor acoustic and the results are fantastic. The sound is very true to the acoustic sound of the guitar.

Das Mikrofon Set ist gut verarbeitet und entspricht einem Profi-Standard. Die Montage ist einfach auszuführen. Ich habe das Mikro zunächst problemlos in eine Martin GPCPA eingebaut und war enttäuscht! Das Mikro wird mit einem Schaubstift an einer kleinen Schraube am Lautstärkeregler eingestellt. Für diese wichtigste Funktion gibt es leider keine brauchbare Anleitung! Die Klangmöglichkeiten gehen von Pappkarton bis Kathedrale und das Schräubchen reagiert äußerst sensibel. Nach ca. 6 Stunden wurde mir klar, dass dieses Produkt nichts für meine Martin war. Ich machte einen weiteren Versuch mit meiner alten Gibson Dove. Auch hier gingen viele Stunden mit dem "Fummelstift" ins Land. Aber mit dem Innenraum der Gibson kam das Mikro wesentlich besser zurecht. Ich fand dann doch noch einen Sound mit "Gänsehaut" und war wieder halbwegs zufrieden. Aber Vorsicht, das Ding hat mindestens 1000 Klangmöglichkeiten und man sucht immer weiter nach einer noch besseren Variante. Aber das Bessere ist leider of der Feind des Guten. Das Rückkoppelungsverhalten ist naturgemäß schlechter als bei einem guten Piezo Tonabnehmer. Dafür erhält man aber einen tollen luftigen Sound mit herrlich silbernen Höhen. (Jedenfalls bei der Gibson Dove mit neuen Gibson Saiten)

I recently purchased a brand new Taylor 320 all mahogany acoustic guitar and the only setback I was facing was not being able to plug it in. I looked around and did some research with pickups, microphones, and even piezo systems until I found this Lyric. What really caught my attention was how easy it was to instal and how no modification was needed to install it into my guitar. Within an hour I was playing through my monitor speakers and recording acoustic tracks! What really sets this apart is how it picks up literally any sounds inside and outside of the guitar, since it is a fully functional microphone. I can use my guitar as a percussive instrument just as much as it is a stringed instrument. I am so glad I got it and for the money, it was well worth it! It captures all the small nuances that my hog top has without sacrificing my wallet or modifying the guitar. Definitely get this!
