This was my first try with bamboo and I doubt I will ever use anything else again. For years I have made baby blankets for each grandchild, and the latest one got the first bamboo blanket. Now all the kids and their moms want one just like it because it so soft and lightweight. One of my daughters asked me to make one for her in King size! Now that would be quite a project! The yarn can be doubled for a faster or larger project and is still very soft and workable, so maybe I will try that.The yarn takes a minute to get used to, but really works up well. The second baby blanket I made took a lot less time and was probably done in less than 2 weeks. It really is soft and has a very lovely feel. Although others have recommended a smaller needle, I used a 5.5 crochet needle and thought it came out perfect. Made the first couple of rows a little harder to keep consistent, but after that it was a breeze.Really, really love this yarn. Have bought it in almost every color they make for various and future projects.

Definitely almost a fingerling weight yarn I ended up using a 2.5mm hook which is surprising because my tension tends to be really tight. I know it's listed like it's a worsted weight but I read a bit of reviews and figured for the yardage I'd give it a try and I am not disappointed! I am trying to make clothing for myself that I will actually wear and I really wanted to try something with bamboo and this is amazing yarn! I will be repurchasing to make more items. The yarn is super soft, the color is consistent, this works up very easily for being untwisted ply yarn!

PROS:Extremely soft, beautiful sheen & drape. Will center pull if you can find the end. The peach that I got is gorgeous! I’m an experienced knitter and found it pretty easy to work with. Will definitely buy again.CONS:More like a fingering weight, very splitty, lots of splices. Easier to knit than crochet. Probably wouldn’t recommend for newer knitters/crocheters. The variegated that I got was disappointing - peach, yellow and GRAY? I was expecting vibrant colors, not GRAY.

What a delight is this yarn! It is thin, but not fingering thin, at all. The best size of crochet hook is 3.5 mm but it can handle a 3mm-4mm hooks, too. It is very loosely spun, needles can split it easily, so choose a deeper throat crochet hook to avoid the annoyance. For this reason, this is not for beginners, but for more advanced yarn artists this yarn can be a delight to both work with and wear the finished work.The quantity for the money is great! I've crocheted a pullover with 3/4 sleeve, using a 3.5mm hook, using just a little bit more than 5 skeins. My finished pullover feels unexpectedly velvety for the touch, and has beautiful drape.Why is the star deduction? Some skeins, not all, but more than one, had frequently knotted parts - sometimes as frequent as every 2 feet. After ordering 2 bags, I went ahead and ordered more right away. I recommend this yarn for all who likes their finished projects look and feel of a higher quality.

I've been using this to practice lace stitches on my standard gauge knitting machine. It produces a beautiful fabric, and also frogs easily (for when I mess up ;D). I need to order more and actually make something with it! I wind it into cakes before using it and it doesn't seem to have any knots or joins. Very nice yarn for the price!

I doubled this up to knit an Irish cardigan size 2 with my regular pattern that uses worsted or sport weight yarn. It knit up so soft and lovely. It was tricky at times to get both strands in each stitch but worth the effort.

I'm crocheting scarves and hats and this is a wonderful smooth yarn with a great feel. Soft and not fuzzy. The blend a nice weight, not as heavy as all cotton yarn and very breathable.The skein goes a long way too.Really nice.

This yarn is a light weight - it doesn’t specify a weight rating, but I’m guessing it is most probably a 2. My pattern called for a yarn weight rating of 3, but so far I’m very happy with the results. It’s very easy to work with. Super soft and the color is gorgeous!

I just received this yarn and I absolutely love it. It has 230 yards/meters for a 50 gram ball so it is a LIGHT FINGERING weight yarn. The softness and lightness of the yarn makes it perfect yarn for summer garments. The colours are so rich and vibrant. And the price is affordable. I am a plus size woman and with 10 balls I can get 2 summer tees out of it. I will be ordering more.
