Great Read
I thought the book was good. I was not highly academic and easy enough to understand. I think the author is a very good foundation for why Genesis doesn’t matter and that it can have an effect on the gospel message.

This is both phenomenal and poignant in its format . I have been pastoring for over 30 years, but. 8 years ago began seeing the word of God in a way that transcended over 22 years of traditional, denominational based, limitations, and faulty paradigms. This kindle book is concise and simplistic enough to finisih in one sitting, but hits at the very core of the issues that plague the present day church impact and effectiveness. A thorough, inspired study of Genesis is essential to getting the church back on the path to its divine calling and destiny.
This book is both phenomenal and poignant in its format. After over 30 years of pastorng, in 2011, I became aware of the limitations of my Biblical and theological preaching, teaching, and perspectives. This book is the latest of many books I've read in the last 7 years to resolidify my foundational premise of my calling and purpose. This book is concise and simplistic enough to finish in one sitting, yet inclusive enough to set in motion the seeds to transform the rigid, limited, and faulty paradigms of orthodox denominationalism. To me, Genesis sets the tone and tenure for the perspectives and perceptions for interpretation, understanding, and comprehension of the rest of scripture and their impact and influence on both my teaching and my living. May God continue to bless and enlighten you.

Really Awesome Foundational Approach!
I have read many of Dr. Jason Lisle's books and essays, as well as, watched many of his talks given both live and on DVD. Most tend to be very technical in nature, this book, however is not. I found it very easy to understand and shared it with my two children who have just become teenagers. They, in turn, have shared it with some of their friends in Catechism class. If it was up to me, it would be required reading. This book, outside of The Bible itself, proves that the earth is young.

A must for every Christian Teacher and parent.
This book is a great tool foe every teacher and educator. I am Bible teacher for high school students. Most of the time they are bombarded by an evil and perverse media. And a also I lukewarm Chriatian Media that's choosen to evade conflict by relegating the certitude of the scriptures to a secondary issue. Our students are in risk of linving school with this relativistic vision of Christian Values. No doubt Genesis 1:1 is the most important verse of the scripture. And this book presents it Boldly and clearly.

Jason Lisle got right in "Why Genesis Matters"
Jason Lisle uses excellent logic as he harmonizes Biblical scriptures and common sense to make his point that Christians must believe that Genesis is to be viewed as being a reliable historical document. It is sad that many Christians have been duped to believe that mankind, over billions of years, came from a one celled creature. His book helps us to educate ourselves and others of the importance of acknowledging that Genesis is the foundation of the Christian faith and as such, it must be studied and defended.
