Herter - 651N109 - Maximum-Minimum Thermometer

I like its appearance and its sturdiness. It works much better than the Brennan equivalent that it replaced. The first Herter had suffered some shocks in transit, resulting in some bubbles that I couldn't shift, despite excellent help from the manufacturer's customer service people. Amazon provided a replacement which was bubble free.If I could change anything, it would be the size of the screw holes for mounting it. They are a tight fit over the heads of the appropriate sized screws.

Very pleased initially but the markers are stuck after just over a month in use. Occasionally they spontaneously release too rendering the thermometer unfit for purpose.

When I take the temperature readings from the previous 24 hrs it is difficult to shake the indices down to the current temperature..I have to shake the thermometer in my hand.The button press does not work 🙁 it is very frustrating.

As most have found fluid separates and is now good for nothing. Do not buy!

After approx. three weeks the 'fluids' fractured into several short columns leaving the marker stranded and readings meaningless. Left unable to re-unite the 'fluids'. Thermometer now useless.

TEMPERATUR WIRD FALSCH ANGEZEIGT .Kann das Thermometer ,wegen der Luftblasen in der orangen Flüssigkeit beider Anzeigesäulen nicht empfehlen !!!!Durch diesen Fehler ist keine korrekte Temperaturanzeige möglich 😬

Para control de la temperatura de la nevera

Ho comprato 3 termometri ed ognuno da una temperatura diversa...sia attuale che la registrazione della minima e della massima. quale sarà quella giusta ????

Je suis un peu déçu parce que je suis obligé d'utiliser ce thermomètre couché pour garder en mémoire les températures maxi et mini, sinon les indicateurs censés les indiqués descendent entraînés par la gravité.J'avais acheté ce thermomètre exprès pour ces indications mini/maxi.... le produit ne correspond pas à mes attentes, en plus j'en ai acheté 3 d'un coup !!C'est nul de vendre un produit qui n'est pas au point !Il suffirait juste que les flotteurs soient moins lourds ...Je suis très très déçu !

Compré este termómetro para la garita meteorológica de un Colegio y ha durado poco más de un mes.Escasísimo tiempo para el coste que tiene y a la vez demasiado ya que ya ha vencido la fecha de devolución.El líquido de la escala de temperatura mínima ya no baja hasta abajo. La marca naranja que determinaría la temperatura actual no coincide en amabas escalas. En definitiva, que Las mediciones o bien no se pueden realizar, o son claramente erróneas y nada fiables...Esta semana he vuelto a adquirir uno idéntico. Espero que esta vez tenga una mayor duración. El presupuesto de una actividad didáctica no puede dedicarse a reponer continuamente termómetros.Un cordial saludo.
