I put this almost at the end of my driveway. If it goes off I have plenty of time to get to the door. I thought it picked up whatever drove or walked past it…well, it does better than that! When my mail is delivered it goes off. If someone is in the road at the END of my driveway, it notifies me. Very happy with this product.

I bought this system so I could put sensors around the house and garage to notify me if anyone is present when they are not supposed to be. So far, I can sleep comfortably knowing that no one is stirring in my garage or house!

We have a very long driveway (over 700') and need a way to know when someone is at the gate. Over the years we have tried more expensive brands only to be replacing them after a couple of years when they fail.This does exactly the same job, and seems to be manufactured to higher standard than the others. Time will tell if it outlasts them however I am confident this will outlast the others because it is made better.One caveat: It is HIGHLY sensitive and will react to the slightest movement on the highest setting so we had to put it on the lowest sensitivity to avoid alarms when a small animal would pass. This is not a drawback but rather a notable feature that it has three levels of sensitivity.If you need a long distance "door bell" than I recommend you give this a try.

The instructions that came with are for a different model but WTH, mine only has one less function button than the model in the instructions, should be able to figure it out and make it work, right? WRONG. Neither sensors or the receiver function uniformly, they do random things, including go dead at random times. I've gone through every permutation and combination of the instructions dozens of times now and can't get this piece of China garbage to do anything but occasionally kind of have a sensor randomly pick up some movement from any distance and maybe it'll also sound a random tone but the next time I can get the sensor to trigger, it sounds the same tone on a different channel and sometimes the lit up channel walks it's sweet way through all the numbers until I pull the batteries and stop it. Got two receivers, both do different random things in response to the same sequence of button pushes.I'm going to return this piece of horrible garbage and buy a decent quality driveway alarm like I should have done in the first place and you should do the first time.

Purchased these to replace a four year old hosmart product that was rated for 1/4 mile and worked perfectly until the small window for the motion sensor broke. Installed both sensors, one at the same location that the hosmart sensor had been and one approximately 150’ further away. I did this with the hope of eliminating false alarms from deer, two alerts would indicate someone on the driveway. The unit closer to the house worked intermittently and the other didn’t work at all. Adjusted sensitivity and angle of sensors as suggested in the owners manual, the sensor LED showed that the sensors are working but the signal is not reaching the receiver. The sensors have now been moved multiple times with the sensor closest to the house is 500’ away and the sensor further away is 630’. Our driveway has a line of maple trees down each side that are trimmed up and I can see both sensors. No hills, wooded area or buildings blocking the signal. The sensor that is 630’ away is still intermittent.
