The fit and cut is really good, but this nylon material is really shiny… especially in the sun. Also the material has absolutely no stretch to it.

The images show them being a little baggy, but my XL were way too tight... looked like a wetsuit. I'm 6'2" 230 and by all means the XL was my size.... but it fit like a youth large.

I ordered these in my typical size and they were small. I then ordered the bigger size and still too small. They are made very narrow in the legs, the material is more of a windbreaker feel then I was expecting. If you have super skinny legs and aren’t very tall these would be a good fit for you. The large size doesn’t seem to be any bigger.

Y’all. Remember the parachute pants from the 1990’s??? Well, these are the new updated version. Legit, these are parachute pants with an updated style to fit a more recent trend. Like, you’re going to hear that swish swiff when you walk. These aren’t going to keep you warm in any weather under 60°F, or cool in any weather over 60°F. In fact, I’d be willing to bet you could steam up a fine case of swamp a$$ wearing these on a warm day.We ordered these for my 17 yr old son who is working at the zoo and needed khakis. It’s Southpole. I would have never imagined getting parachute pants with Southpole label on them. They’re joggers, so they got that right. They looked so cute on the link for them…. And I guess had I really read into the subliminal messaging in the description, I would have figured they were parachute pants (tech, nylon).Oh well. We returned them. He didn’t even try them on. He was excited about getting them, opened the box, and was like….. mom, what the parachute pants? LOL

The waist size runs kind of tight so read the sizes in the description. It lists XXL, but you can only purchase up to an XL. Wicks very well. As breathable as water resistant pants get. Don't expect it to be a summer goto, but they work well for the rainy season. The material makes a swish swish sound. Overall, these pants serve a purpose well and that's it. Not an everyday wear, but a fine example of technical wear. Don't expect a perfect fit first try either. There is a break-in period.
