The media could not be loaded. Let me start by saying that I did not need new dinnerware, but I happened across these plates while perusing Amazon. They were beautiful and I put them in my wishlist to decide for a later day, since they are a bit pricy. I am frugal. My original dinnerware set came from Walmart at $1 a plate and I was still happy with them. As time passed, every time I went on the Amazon website, I would look at these plates again and again and again. I just loved them, but they were way more expensive than I would normally spend on myself for something I don’t need. Well, I decided for my birthday I was going to splurge and get these because I loved them so much. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed. I actually did a happy dance when opening the boxes. They are even more beautiful in person and worth every penny. I will warn you, each bowl will not be a replica of one another. There will be varying differences in the colors, but still in the same family. I actually like that. It is like each plate has its own personality. They stack easily in my cabinet as well. I love the uneven surface design. This does not impede the plate being able to sit flat/flush to the table. It is merely decorative. The color is a dark Blue which is my favorite color. They feel durable. Not too heavy, not too light. Heavier than my Walmart glass plates, however. The video shows you some variation in color as well as how it looks next to some royal/dark blue glassware. IN LOVE! Superb customer service as well.

I love these. Storing them are wonderful as they go into the buffet when not in use. Quality is wonderful. The plates are not perfect on purpose. Love the uneven small nuances of them. Definitely scratch resistant. Heat and microwave use would be normal.

These plates look perfect, great size, thick but not heavy, beautiful color, easy to clean, microwave safe, wonderful texture and sturdy for big meals! Comes with a guarantee card to replace your items but it's soo well insulated that someone would have had to been careless in delivery for anything to arrive broken. These guys are soo getting all of my business.

The plates are beautiful.(Unfortunately, as I took one of them out of the box, it slipped and fell, breaking into dozens of pieces, and hitting on the edge of another plate, chipping it too badly to be used, so I'm actually two plates short now. I'd ordered these plates to use for our first Thanksgiving together - my husband and I just got married at the end of April - we're both very very senior citizens.)

Packed amazingly from the manufacturer. Beautiful product.Now if Amazon would only learn how to put sufficient packing material in a box.

The color is a little darker than the picture, but still works. I was concerned about ordering these due to the reviews and the white film that can be left after washing. I hand washed these with warm water and they did fine. There are some slight imperfections when you look closely, but overall for the price I feel that they are good quality and I love the hammered look.

I like the handmade quality and the color you can see where somebody put in the effort making this I had a plate that had a small chip upon arrival. They were willing to send me one at no cost when I was looking to match the color. planning on getting more from the company I just received a set of bowls to match.

I was first drawn in by the beautiful design of these plates. I needed durable, dishwasher safe plates as well though. Our family has been using these plates for 14 months now and they have held up fantastically!! Not one of them has broken so badly that it had to be thrown away, even with our 7 & 8 year olds helping with dishes.I did buy our 4 kids their own set of kid plates, so that these would have the best chance of lasting the test of time, and it has paid off! There is one small crack in the top of one of the matching bowls I got, but it's still usable and the others still look great with minimal scratches from over a year of use!Highly recommend and if something catastrophic happened and they were all ruined, I'd buy this set again!

The colour of these dinner plates are a beautiful speckled blue. They have a nice sized rim on them. Quite hefty - you can not only see the great quality, but feel it too.One of the plates arrived damaged - had some scratches on the edge/rim of it. Another plate had a sharp point sticking up from the rim. I emailed Vicrays to let them know about the one scratched plate & asked advice on how to possible remove the sharp point on the other plate, without damaging it. They responded within 2 hours, apologising profusely and confirming my address so that they can send out a replacement plate. Within the next hour, I received another email confirming that a shipment has been prepared for me. Within a couple of days emailing them, my shipment arrived. To my surprise, they sent out a complete set of 6 dinner plates!!! For no charge!! Who does that these days? So, thank you very, very much Catharine (Customer Service Manager) for looking after me, and for all that you did. The plates are not only stunning, so is the customer service at Vicrays! I highly recommend these dinner plates and other items. You won't be disappointed! I also purchased the 8 inch salad plates (set of 6), 12 ounce coffee mugs (set of 6), large 18 ounce coffee mugs (set of 4), 24 Oz Soup Bowls with Handles (set of 4), the set of 6 Pasta Bowls (with dimples) and the set of 6 Chinese Porcelain Soup Spoons. All are such stunning shades of blue!!

I am very pleased with my purchase. These are fine, quality plates in a beautiful colour. The only thing I would say is the design would not suit a dish containing gravy or any loose sauce as there is no real lip to contain it but most things would be fine. Packaging was very secure and they arrived undamaged.
