Right..This review is my preliminary one on the Printer received 12/10/2024. First impression is very positive. Well constructed like the two colour tone, and working perfectly with Wireless connection. I began the installation today 13/10/2024 and delighted with the self install instructions displayed on the printers window which swivels for ease of reading and all up and running after just 10mins., Paper alignment and copy print of an invoice from my photos app went without a hitch, the print speed is very good, the print is sharp with no smudging. I did read some of the negative reviews prior to purchasing this particular model but the many positives convinced me to buy this model so wondered if the purchasers were confused by the poor instructions in the booklet that came with the printer which was pretty useless to the 1st time buyer. I will update in about 6 months. The Printing Ink monthly payment plan is worth considering with a choice of payments based on the amount of paper used. I am a light user but covered myself with the 50 pages per month plan, just one plan higher than the 10 pages per month and their are higher plans specifically for business users. Buying alternative Ink Cartridges from a competitor because they would be cheaper doesn’t work, HP have a monopoly on their cartridges due to the Barcode attachments so it would be impossible to use alternatives, separate HP cartridges can be purchased but having compared prices know that HP use genuine Ink Cartridges which last much longer than cheaper alternatives so represent excellent value and HP will send replacement Cartridges before the current ones run dry provided of course you purchase the Ink plan of your choice so something to think about. I was looking for an affordable all-in-one printer for home use, and this HP model ticked all the boxes. I don’t print large volumes, mostly homework for the kids, tickets, or occasional documents, so this was a perfect fit. Setup was straightforward, and HP’s customer support was excellent, they helped me register the printer, activate the Instant Ink offer, and answer all my questions. The print quality is sharp, colours look great, and it’s quiet. I really appreciate the wireless printing feature, being able to print directly from my phone or laptop anywhere in the house is a big plus. Scanning and copying work well too, and even though it doesn’t have automatic double-sided scanning, the HP app makes it easy by reordering pages automatically. After a few months of use, I’m very happy with it. For the price, it offers great functionality, solid performance, and convenience. Highly recommended for home or light office use.

I like HP printers and this 1 was easy to set up. My only problems were putting the black cartridge into its slot to b recognised. I needed to b more aggressive and printer said all 4 cartridges were installed. My next problem was getting old printer from being 1st default printer. Chatbot aided me in help section from hp smart app sorted. Everything worked fine scan, printing sending scan to my email. Loading paper was same as old printer. But just pull out tray fills then slide back in. Wifi is real strong here so no probs connecting and staying connected. It's a mix between printer and starter book to install. The design is nice just like amazon pic. I think photo printing is v good. Never tried envelopes or multiple document scanner. Auto duplex works v well. Ink cartridges 3 color and 1 black just click into place no need to b me v gentle wen inserting them. Great value for money. Highly recommend this printer. Comes with 3 months free ink to enrol. Which I did don't need any proof as new printer. I use hp 80g plain paper wen print or hp photo paper. So far no jams.

I Have only had this printer for 24hrs and this thing rocks I have the instant ink program all set up and I enjoy using it So take it from me this is a good buy

Absolute rubbish!!! Ignore the good reviews, it sets up fine and does a test print then it continually turns itself on and off again saying it's trying to perform an update and then says failed and just does this repeatedly, DO NOT BUY

Not much I can say about this seems good quality at the end of the day basic paper is basic

I took a long time choosing a new printer, and the only reason I needed one is because Windows updates stopped the scanner from working on my Canon Pixma MP640. I wanted a printer with a front paper feed, and seperate ink cartridges, not a tri colour one which are a huge waste of money. This printer seemd to tick all the boxes. Front paper feed. Duplex printing Seperate ink cartridges WiFi etc... It was delivered on the promised day, (although the delivery driver just left it at my front door and did not ring my doorbell). Unpacking was straightforward without too much transit tape to remove. Setup was carried out using an app downloaded to a smartphone via a QR code on the scanner lid, which showed you animated steps on setting up the printer and connecting to the WiFi. Once set up, Widows found it immediately and installed the required drivers. Test prints showed crisp text with good colour and much faster print speed than my old Canon. I initially had trouble with the control panel on the printer, which did not respond to my touch, and refused to carry out any functions. After consulting with a useless "AI" assistant on the HP website, I was almost at the point of repackaging it and returning it to Amazon. The control panel mysteriously startd working though, so I carried on testing. Setting up the "Scan to computer" button was a nightmare! Finding the correct download on HP's website from the help screen was a non-starter, and after finally finding the correct software, I continually got scan failures, which the messages on the printer showed as "network" or "USB" problems. It turned out that when a document is scanned, it always calls in "scan" and if a file already exists with that name, it does not append a (1) after the filenam like most Windows apps would do, it just throws up an error. I spent way too long setting this up, and I have 40 years of experience with all things computer related, including commercial laser printers, corporate I.T. support and component level repairs. For this reason I can only give the printer a 3 out of 5..

I had a slight problem setting it up. It downloaded and installed 90% and then came up with an error of which I could not rectify. So therefore rang HP Customer Service and they were fantastic, albeit they were going to have to ring me back the next day at 11:00 with a plan. But me being me, once off the phone to H.P.C.S, I decided to try once more to complete the installation but instead of doing it via the HP Smart App on my PC, I decided to attempt it via my iPhone and lo and behold it worked. HP Customer Service as promised rang me back the next day at the time they said they would. Were happily shocked when I told them I had done it And they even checked from their end that everything was installed all ok, via the Appliance of Science.

Avoid. This is a heap of junk. Too many ongoing problems to mention. Network connectivity issues, firmware update issues and more. I will be sending it to the recycling dump ASAP.

Super imprimante ! Quelques petites erreurs dans l'application HP mais tout s'est connecté et imprime merveilleusement bien :) Faut bien suivre les étapes et ne pas hésiter à chipoter si quelque chose ne fonctionne pas.
