Q: Am a size 16 what size should i buy. Its to go under my wedding dress.

My girlfriend got a size XL and she's a size 16 normally but it didn't fit at all, couldn't button up the front so she said get a XXL or 3XL if you want more space

It helps if you have someone to tighten the back once it's on, but once it's tightened to your figure, it is possible to put it on yourself, although a bit fiddly.

Q: Is this suitable for a larger than average, heavier bust ?

IMO.. no :/ I ordered many sizes bigger than normal.. and pulled the lacing to the limit. No way I could get the corset even half way around me. it's Asian sizes. Honestly not sure it would even go around my spidery thin 12 year old.
