I found it a little large but it snapped it in half easily. It wears down and crumbles away as you use it (I didn't not realise that happened) so wore out most of the stone hand stripping my border terrier. It did a great job! Very grippy and I didn't even need to use the chalk powder I would normally use. Much better than the stripping combs I usually use. Will deffinately buy one each time I need to strip him. Highly recommend

Very happy with this stripping stone. I have a wirehaired dog that has a heavy coat and this is the only thing that seems to keep it under control. It pulls out all the dead hair and smartens up his coat no end. Loads of hair comes out using it. The stone is quite crumbly and gritty so be prepared for that. I sometimes use the edge of the stone which helps in some places. The stone does quickly wear down but it is the most effective I have found at stripping the wire coat and not damaging it. Highly recommend.

I found this too large for my small hand although it worked well on terriers longer hair. It will wear with use and be a more useful shape.

surprised at the small size. Had to use my 'former' stripping knife' to cut to 'use-able' size! Product works well enough.

The media could not be loaded.  Brilliant product for stripping loose wirey hair from dog. I have a westy x shitzu and it feels like shes constantly shedding. She also doesn't tolerate many types of brushes... but she loves this. It must feel like a massage to her, she just sits and enjoys the process! And I'm so happy too as so much loose hair comes off, just make sure you do it outside otherwise it'll go everywhere.

Its always hit and miss buying stripping stones online. Ive found some are just to smooth and dont work. Ive always tried to buy stones I can see and feel before I buy.This stone is by far the best Ive ever had. It is quite crumbly, but it grips the hair and works extremely well. The price is great. I shall certainly recommend and be buying this product again. Im so glad I found it.

Die Form ist mir etwas zu eckig und der Stein ist relativ groß. Was mir nicht gefällt ist dass der Stein extrem bröselt. Funktioniert jedoch sehr gut zum trimmen.
