WWII German Army Heer Waffen K98 98K DAK Rifle Carry Sling - Reproduction

I like the strap but the very end part (keeper) that is in contact with the wood doesn’t have padding. This will continually scratch your wood. Now I did go to a surplus store and was able to get lucky buying an old k98 strap that had a padded keeper… this was able to replace the one originally with this sling and looks good. I would still buy this again but only if I had another keeper.

This item doesn’t fit. Had to fight to get the leather lead into the barrel band first where the canvas is sandwiched between the leather is too thick. The klemmstuck or clamp is loose and won’t keep the sling in one spot while carrying it will let go and slip. The sling stopper for the stock is too thin and won’t seat correctly so instead of being tight to the rifle when you pull the weapon up it is sticking straight out and gets in the way. I wanted a canvas sling for low Maintenace and to be less stiff than the repro leather slings but this isn’t the answer.

Strap is too thin for the retainer to hold properly. Awesome looking but I would only use it for a wall hanger, definitely no field use

I shouldn't call it garbage. "Garbage" implies it was useful at some point. The buckle won't hold, so you're sure to drop your rifle. The keeper is way to big to "keep". I'm also pretty sure the "leather" is actually cardboard from a McDonald's chicken nugget box that's been soaked and left out in the sun. The only redeeming quality of this sling is that I can return it.

Very good communications and fast shipping too. Item is an olive drab green with brown leather keeper and a black adjustable buckle. I plan to put this sling on a Yugoslavian M48 rifle, as the OD fabric strap is a nice change from the brown leather sling everyone is used to seeing. Should turn out nicely once I get it on the rifle. Overall well made, good looking product and I'm happy with the service.

所持のkar98kに革製のものを付けていましたがコットンはどうなの？と思って買いました。適度に柔らかく革製より使いやすい、色もアクセントになってカッコいい、中々です。革とコットンの接合部が革製よりも厚みがありダブルベルkar98kでは前側のスリング穴に通しにくかった。それ以外それぞれの部位の厚み幅共に問題なかった。
