NO CONE OF SHAME EVER AGAIN!
Talk about less demoralizing for the dog. And everyone got sleep during recovery. Our dog had a laparotomy and was given a Pro-Collar (basically a hemorrhoid pillow). She was miserable. Nobody slept, she couldn't get her head comfortable. This showed up the following day and once I wiggled all her fur into it, she collapsed, mooed happily and sacked out for the entire day, night and half of the morning. I can't say enough about this fantastic product. For reals. The dog was able to move unrestricted, her dressings stayed in place, she couldn't access her incision and it was easy to roll up the "trap door" for potty time.More veterinarians need to stock this in their clinics and bag that ridiculous cone nonsense (in the right candidate, of course). Our high maintenance sheepdog was super happy with her "surgi jammies", as were we.

Amazing alternative to E-collar
This product is amazing and exactly what my 75lbs Lab needed after being neutered. I ordered a XXL and though it looks tight the material is soft soft flexible and breathable it fits him perfectly. Easy to put it on my pup and came with step by step instructions with pictures. We were having a hard time with the e-collar we got from the vet especially cause it won't let my pup go into his kennel. And we were struggling because our lab wouldn't stop licking his incision. This is well thought out and easy to use. My dog is now resting comfortably and I have piece of mind I won't be back at the vet anytime soon. My brother even purshased one for his dogs at my recommendation and they love it too!

Fits the bill.
After being on the losing end of a cone war with my old Golden, and then several days and long nights of rigging t-shirts to keep her abdominal incisions clean and protected, I knew I had to find something better. This fit the bill. In every way! It's super easy to put on, take off, and adjust for bathroom breaks. It's washable and you can throw it in the dryer. It's breathable and judging from my girl's sleeping positions, very comfortable. The chart to find her size was spot on-it fits perfectly. And yes, if she wanted to, she could still lick the spot covering the incisions but she doesn't seem to want to (but will readily lick them once the Snuggly is removed). The cost is well worth it, and very reasonable anyway. The lack of bruising to everyone's legs, no marks on the walls and the ability to drink whenever she wants is worth even a much higher price. I've shown this awesome product off to several colleagues and they were very impressed (I'm a veterinarian-I know the struggles and importance of protecting incisions from persistent patients). Buy. This. Product.

It worked wonderfully. The snuggly fits like a second skin and ...
We had to get our pitbull surgery to remove a growth on her lower abdomen. Concerned for her comfort, my wife put an inflatable collar on her afterwards, despite advice from her friend that they don't really work. Sure enough, she managed to tore open her stitching on the same night of her surgery. We had to visit the vet two more times to get her wound stapled. After that we used an e-collar, but she still tried to get to the wound with her hind legs. So we bandaged her, but no amount of tape would make the dressing stay in that area. We were re-bandaging her four plus times a day.A friend suggested buying an unitard or baby pajamas and cut it up to put on her. After some researching online, I came across this. It worked wonderfully. The snuggly fits like a second skin and she doesn't mind it at all. If only we knew something like this existed beforehand, it would saved us a lot of time, money, and stress.I can't recommend this highly enough.

Amazing
I have a Basenji, black lab mix dog that is impossible to train. He knows better but loves to mark everything in the house. The vet did a full check up, nothing health wise is wrong. We contacted trainers to no help. We had him going to doggy day camp with no positive results afterwords. I've fostered many many dogs with all kinds of issues that I have always been able to train with success but my own dog had me at my wit's end. I used this product without any pads or diapers and it's amazing!! He has not tried to mark anything while he had this on. He's an escape artist and he has yet to try to get out of it. Love this product! It is fragile around the leg holes so be careful. Mine tore but it's so worth the price I'll be buying a new one to replace it. It was kind of my fault it happened in the first place. I measured my dog and went one size up and it fit him perfect. I orded a X large. He's a skinny dog but he's long and tall. 52lbs

It's a MUST HAVE!
I have a 70lbs/8month old German Shepard. I ordered an extra large/long.... he is a rescued, therefore much older than normal for his operation. He was neutered and had a gastroplexy at the same time. He eats everything... he however did not eat this or attempt too. He was completely unable to reach any of the stitches, which extended from his middle/upper torso to his testicles(or what use to be testicles). It was easy to get on and off. I think he honestly felt safe in the surgical snuggie. It acted almost as a thunder jacket and helped with his after surgery anxiety. The vet was also beyond please to hear we opted to buy this and not the dreaded cone. Highly recommend

Be careful of fit
Our dog was between sizes and next larger size recommended by company representative was a little too long and stretchy to help secure our Doberman's diaper during estrus. Smaller size probably would have worked better. It didn't work for our purpose but I think it would be good for protecting surgical dressings or hot spots on the trunk and probably fits a normally shaped dog much better. (Dobies have very deep chest and wasp waist making fit difficult) The ability to quickly re-position the rear portion for going potty is very convenient. It would probably be an excellent substitute for the "Thunder Shirt" for thunder phobic dogs.
