LOHASWORK ANSI Z89.1 Safety Helmet Adjustable Work Helmet for Forestry Chainsaw Arborist Construction Men

I have a small head, so sometimes it's difficult to get hats, and helmets to fit snuggly enough that don't fall off. The chin strap is perfect for holding it in place, and the straps that go around the back of the head are perfectly placed. I didn't worry about it slidding around as is often the case. It's lightweight, and comfortable; like I was wearing a baseball cap, rather than a safety hat.

I got the product because I wanted to be able to swap out the mesh face shield for the solid one that's available. For that it's been perfect. I. also like the vented coolness in the worst of the Texas heat.But, I felt like the earmuffs weren't doing their job. I have over-the-head 3M earmuffs, as well as a Husqvarna Foresty helmet with great earmuffs.I felt like I could hear too much getting through, especially at higher frequencies. Like I could hear my weedeater line screaming at what sounded like full unattenuated sound. Certainly louder than my others.I decided to check out the materials, comparing my 3 set of earmuffs.The others have a denser foam; the foam in these feels lighter and more porous.I purchased and received a pair of 3M X4P3E helmet-attachable earmuffs.The difference is clear testing with them detached, side-by-side; the provided earmuffs let in way more high-frequency content.The 3M set also has tighter springs and softer foam.The 3M set attaches to this helmet, but doesn't have the original mesh shield attachment, which I. don't need.I only knocked the rating down to 4, because the product is almost perfect for my intended use.But the ear protection is lacking, IMHO.

This came as basically a black shield. Although looks cool w my black helmet ( love looking cool), I wear glasses and would have liked to have this polarized when down. On the subject of glasses, these pull down without interference of my glasses, which I dig. Would have been 5 stars if polarized.

ATI主催のアーボリスト(樹護士)講習にこのヘルメットを持って行き、トレーナーに樹上で使用できるか確認したところ、ヘルメット内部に発泡スチロールが無く墜落保護帽として機能しないとのことで使用出来ませんでした。商品説明でアーボリストと記載があったので購入しましたが使い物になりませんでした。

The product was great and the specifications were as expected.It is functional and strongly supports safety when working in closed spaces, narrow spaces, or high places.
