Mould on the wood
I suppose it can happen on wood. Although or. Would expect quality inspection to happen before it’s dispatched. And since this was a next day delivery, I wouldn’t expect mould to happen right away. I am disappointed in that an Inspection wasn’t done before dispatching. I’m sure this could have been avoided.

Wood slices were damp and mouldy
These wood slices were damp and mouldy when I received them. After leaving them out of the plastic in which they arrived both pieces have cracked. I will now have to fill the cracks and re-sand them to make them fit to use. Very disappointed.

Can't Go Wrong
Its exactly as expected.. 2 slices of wood.Nice quality.and works well for carving.Will buy again.

Beautiful but one had a thin tiny 7cm crack.
The slices are beautiful and they're well polished for handling although the outer rim is flaky and needs a bit of care when handling. I make my own coasters and serving stands and trays and this a lovely size for most uses. It's also easy to engrave on and would give off a lovely vintage effect. My only gripe is that one of the slices had a thin 7cm crack from the rim inwards. Could be left as is for artistic purposes but I plan to use resin to fill that gap. The slices are not flimsy and are a thick piece of wood.It seems that there is no quality control to ensure that each slice shipped is crack or split-free but overall I'd be happy to recommend if that's acceptable to you.

Unfit for use!
This is the second time that I’ve bought these wooden discs and the first time they were slightly marked but a sander removed the marks. This time They arrived quickly but on opening the package, both discs were so badly marked and mouldy that even a heavy sanding wouldn’t remove the marks. I cannot recommend this product and I certainly won’t be buying them again.

Wood cracks
Wood splits after been indoors for a few days

Funny smell
Ordered the product to use as a plate for presenting food on a social media platform. The plates look great but smell funny which adds an unsavouryness to the food put on them.
