Works Great... If put on the right way...
My dad managed to buy himself a cheap chainsaw at the boot fair. It worked fine, but the blade seemed very blunt, hence this purchase.It was a little bit of a phaff to put it on. But that turned out to be because the original owner of the chainsaw had put the chain on back to front! So I am not actually sure that this purchase was even required.However, we tested it out over the weekend on a tree that needed trimming back, and I am happy to report that this new chain performed very well.No idea about its longevity because we have only used it the once, so this is hardly a "long-term" review. But in terms of the blade fitting fine and actually cutting well, it is seeming like a good buy.

Good Chain
I have a Bosch electric chainsaw for cutting logs in my garden because it's not as noisy as my petrol saws so it doesn't give the neighbours so much grief. I use it frequently because I cut enough logs to last the winter and this chain has been on the saw for well over a year. I also use it to rough out trunks for carving which involves a lot of cutting along the grain.It has cut mainly hardwoods, mostly Beech and Ash with the occasional bits of Birch and Lime thrown in. It has also cut a variety of softwoods mainly Scotch Pine and Douglas Fir.The chain has performed well having required minimal sharpening and I am very pleased with it. Surprisingly it's no dearer than other chains even though it has the Bosch name on it. This in itself is normally good for hiking another tenner on the price.Highly recommended.

Pattern part in a Bosch box. Works well, but not worth the extra - just buy the Oregon pattern part
Good cutting speed and lasted well on thick hardwood logs. Just sad that inside the Bosch box was an Oregon pattern part made in China. They are cheaper if you just buy the pattern part as a non branded alternative for the Bosch chain saw.
