Inspirational!
Excellent photos. Practical how-to advice. After looking through this book I was ready to quit work and start making willow sculpture. These sculptures will bring out the kid in you. The catch is, I have to wait till late winter to harvest the willows. Willow sculpture is big in the UK and most examples are from there. You'll need to convert information for your local growing conditions and locally available species of will.

Wow!
Can't wait to try some of the basic designs next year. Filled with fun creative and traditional outdoor willow weaving ideas. Goes right from basics to complex creations. Inspiring!

Great resource for natural play area design
Loved this book because it had great pictures and how to information. We are using it to learn more about creating tunnels and arbors for a nature play area. Would recommend!

Can't wait for spring
I know you have seen photos on social media with living garden furniture or out door bowers that make you go OOOH. This book explains the *hot tos*. It is relatively easy step by step and anyone with a little TOOL experience and Patience (it can take months for the final product to finish growing) can do it.

Arboretum
I found the book interesting and informative. However it has not been used as yet because it is my intention to convince a Board who manage the site, that some of these sculptures would become good points of interest. I am now resident in New York (Long Island) USA and a volunteer helping to improve things in the Arboretum that was previously the Private Estate of a local successful business man. It used to employ 40 gardeners for the 42 acre site. There is much to do and so few hands to do it. I first knew of Willow sculpting from my then membership of the Henry Doubleday Organic Centre at Ryton some years ago. So far the book has created much interested and our hope is that we might find a local artist to work on a project. The arboretum has a few species of Willow and we cah propagate our own requirements. I will keep your information on file and as and when things develope i'll keep you informed.
